In the words of my daughters, this dining experience was a 10/10!
The food was delicious! Everything was fresh and proportioned just right. The broths were seasoned well. This food was so good and we ate to our heart's delight!
The ambiance is laid back and can accommodate multiple persons per group. This experience would be best with two or more people. The service was amazing. James, the host was fantastic as was Malika, our server. Malika was personable and knowledgeable about the experience. She was awesome!

Boiling Pot
I was taken here by a friend. Nice decor. The pots were huge and the meat and vegetables were fresh. Really nothing to complain about. I've been to many Hotpot establishments and this one is a solid restaurant. Our waiter was excellent. Overall a good experience.
One last thing, the white rice bowl was huge. Nice. Not AYCE but decent.

We did enjoy this place. It was good and so much more food than we expected. My only problem was the hot pots was mixing. Normally my son would get his broth spicy 🌶️. Thank goodness he didn’t this time bc I wouldn’t have been able to enjoy mines bc as I said they were mixing. We have been to a hot pot before and didn’t have that problem. Other than that it was good. I did mainly videos and cnt post them 🙄. I did screen shot the hot pot though so y’all can see how both the broths were mixing together and the temperature was way too hot. We had to get it cut down. 8/10 is my review!

The host was not particularly friendly, there wasn’t any greeting or verbal acknowledgment upon entering the restaurant. However, my server was attentive. The broth was flavorful but the limited sauces were brought to the table unlike the other hot pot restaurants I have patronized, whereby there was a self-service sauce station.

Not sure about some of these negative reviews. We went for the first time tonight and thoroughly enjoyed our first hot pot experience. We ordered 3 meats, a few veggies and an appetizer (all-inclusive) and it was plenty of food for the two of us. $40 pp for all you can eat in a unique environment where you’re not rushed to finish seemed reasonable to us.
We chose to get two flavors in our pot and they stayed separated the entire time. We went with their “house” flavor, which was basically plain chicken broth, which allowed us to use their other sauces (duck sauce, soy sauce, etc) for dipping…and then had their hot schezhuan for our second flavor. It was on the spicy end, but not burning.
The voodoo shrimp appetizer was very tasty (think bang bang shrimp).
We went at 6:00 on a Saturday night and it was busy but there wasn’t a long wait. Service was friendly and dress was casual. Ambiance was quiet and a good date night place.

This place is amazing, a perfect place to eat some delicious hot pot with your friends. This place is so good that I travel an hour from where I live to visit my friend and eat here, it’s a special occasion that I always look forward to! The soups are so delicious (I always get the spicy Mala, so flavorful and with good heat, and my friend always gets the house soup, which is also super delicious) and they have a wide selection of ingredients to add in. It’s a delicious meal and a fun time cooking your food in the soup right in front of you. I recommend grabbing some delicious crab rangoons with your hotpot too, they’re creamy and crunchy and some of my favorite I’ve ever had. On top of the delicious food, the staff are always so sweet and take great care of you. We’ve never had a bad time here, and I don’t think we ever will!

Amazing food. Wish the sauce selection was better, and be wary of the amount of food. You will NOT need a refill! They bring so much!

Reason for 3 start is that tables are waay! Too close to each other, specially if you sit in the back. Service was ok,

It was my first time and it definitely didn't meet my expectation because of all the hype I've heard from other people. The food was great but the service was terrible. We arrived there around 2 PM and it wasn't busy at all. Only a few tables were filled. We were there for about an hour and a half and our water was only refilled twice! My cup was emptied for quite awhile before they came around to refill and there wasn't even that many customers in the restaurant. There were multiple items that we ordered but were never brought out. There was also an order of chicken wings that was messed up. I believe the meat balls come in 3 but they only gave us half a meat ball for the beef ball we ordered. Half a meat ball!!! The restaurant does have a nice environment but the service just wasn't good. Though I will give it another try because I'm very forgiving.

The Boiling Pot is the closest thing to Chinese hotpot in Charlotte. The pricing is a little steep, I Wish it was around 22-24$ per person. Many of the people I go with don't eat seafood so the high price is even less enticing. The sichuan spicy soup could be spicier

Just like others have mentioned....great food but the price can deter people from returning. It's in Northlake area, not South Park. Make the prices reasonable and it will have a positive reaction.
