Their stuffed arepa is delicious! And the waitress was fast and polite. The Restaurant is medium size and it was clean. The restroom was well maintained.
They have chairs on the outside with umbrellas as well.
Easy convenient parking right in front of the place, it might be hard to get a parking spot on a busy day because the parking lot is not big.
Excellent service. We ordered the beef rib sancocho and it was very tasty, portion size and presentation was well worth the price. Tasted just like an authentic homemade sancocho. 100% recommended.
The cachapa was very tasty. The empanadas molida omg so good. The service is awesome, thank you Melissa. Pedrito and his guitar was the cherry on top.
Small restaurant, their menu is Colombian/Venezuelan and offers a nice selection of food and drink options, non-alcoholic and alcoholic.
Server was friendly. She was by herself taking care of the whole restaurant which actually got busy after we got there. She managed to serve everyone with a good attitude.
We enjoyed everything we ordered and prices were good too.
I ordered the cheese cachapa, pabellon empanada and a malta polar, my boyfriend got the huevos rancheros (Colombian style) and a pony malta but I forgot to take pictures.
The food its incredible!!!!, the atmosphere friendly and familiar, the prices are accesible. 100%recommended🇨🇴
I chose Brasas Arepas & Grill for my boyfriend’s surprise 30th birthday party! We had so much fun and the owner was incredible to work with. It was a challenge finding a location so last minute that gave us flexibility on the time of the party, bringing in a DJ, and letting me set up a ton of decorations. However they were incredible to work with and let us set up early, decorate, and bring in a cake too! The food was to die for and our friends all ended up taking to go containers home. I highly recommend considering hosting a party here and working with the team at Brasas!
Was little concerned about coming here with all those 1* reviews. But I was gladly surprised. Food was very tasty, inexpensive, (didn't had any drinks, so not sure about that)
Service was alright.
Next time I wanna try the coffee.
This place was really good! We are Colombian, we know our Spanish food and are a little picky. The flavor of the Grill Steak, chicken, Chicarron(Fried Pork) Chorizo and Morcilla(Blood Sausage) in our Picada..(Meat platter) was so good. Especially the flavor of the Steak and Chicken. Taste well seasoned and fresh. Not to mention the round arepas taste home made. We were very satisfied and can't wait to go back to try more. (Sorry the picture is of less then half of our Picada. Almost finished it when we realized we need to tell people about this place!)
Everything is awesome about this place. From the food to the server's, they make sure you feel at home with conversations and laughter. The food itself tastes as authentic as if they were making it back in their country, a beautiful mixture of sweet and tangy, Devine concoction of Venezuelan and Colombian food. I will say though, there is one thing I didn't like, and that is that if you are bringing 5+ people, be prepared to have gratuity included on the bill. But other than that, this place is a "MUST GO".
The best Venezuelan Arepas in Charlotte. The are fairly priced and always use fresh ingredients. It’s my go to place for Venezuelan brunch. Their soup (sancocho de res) is delicious!! I come from a foodie family and even my mom loves their soup.
