Family environment. Very friendly servers. Hats off to Corey and Kevin for making me feel welcome so. My salad was fresh and delicious. The hushpuppies were light and so tasty. The portions are very generous. There are a variety of seafood combinations. Try them all!
Great tasting fried flounder and white fish. The portions on the large platter were more than enough. The hush puppies are bite size and perfect. You are given a complimentary basket of hush puppies as well as served with your meal. The wait staff does not hover but my drink was never less than half full. We will come back!
I got the $18 platter with fried oysters, popcorn shrimp, jumbo shrimp, scallops, deviled crab, and flounder. It was pretty good. I’m not really into the deviled crab, but i think that’s just a preference thing. The broccoli had no seasoning but was not a deal breaker. It’s definitely a place i would visit again.
Well we drove over an hour to get here only because of the lies that were said about this restaurant and staff. It did NOT disappoint! The service was super fast, the food was excellent and we will be back. The ONLY change I would make is the portions are TOO big. This is a small plate of shrimp I am attaching a picture of. It was HUGE! Also just for the haters out there, the room we were in had a 50/50 split of white and black. So it seems your protest didn’t work out too well. Maybe everyone knows the “protestors” were lying from the start.
The waiter and waitresses and hostess was very nice and helpful. The food great and seasoned, and coming from Georgia that spoke a lot for us. The portions were nice and filling. We will definitely come back the next time we are in the area.
Portion size was huge! The Garlic bread was more like a garlic bread cracker and kinda tasted like it was cooked with fish. But the chicken parmesan was awesome. And the hushpuppies are the best I've ever had. My daughter and I love it. Well definitely be back.
Food was good (they were completely out of the crab legs which I came for) I had baked fish w/ onion rings and okra. Most of the food was fried (which I don't care for) the menu should have more steamed/broiled choices. The poor waiter was catering to us & a family of 20! He forgot about us but we could clearly see why. He apologized but we said we understood. We tipped him 1/2 of our total bill because he worked so hard! Overall, it was a good dinner.
I decided to try them out for the first time. I got their lunchtime special Catfish strips, Alaskan Whitening, onions rings, slaw, and hush puppies. The fish was excellent. It was fried pretty good, a decent amount of seasoning. I also enjoyed the coleslaw and hush puppies. The onion rings skin was too salty. And I tried some of their ranch sauce which was too fattening. But overall I will go their again.
I was pleasantly surprised by this place. Food was hot, fresh, and good. Our LARGE group got great service from staff and even other guests were friendly and supportive of our festivities. I ordered the Alaskan white fish. It was so good it made me wish I lived closer.
Nice family oriented restaurant with plenty of space. Food is always delish. Very happy with this location now I don’t have to travel to Rock Hill, SC. The servers are warm friendly and accurate. Prices are amazing and deserts are great!!!!
