My husband and I have gone to Monterrey for dinner several times now. The food has always been great and the margaritas are to die for!! We had terrible service a few days ago but it has always been good prior. We will continue going to Monterrey for Mexican food!

Great prices, great service, great food.. My husband and I have gone to Monterrey's many times, never once have we had less then amazing service or food. Even with my 82 year old grandmother who can't hear and is incredibly picky. This is one of my hands down favorite places to eat in Charlotte.
My favorite Mexican place. Shrimp & rice is great, as well as their fajitas. My favorite are their nachos though..so GOOD!
The Best. This restaurant opened in the queen city in 1989!! The food is consistent good service great margaritas. Others have come and gone but Monterrey is still serving great food year after year!!
Yum. Been coming here for years and it never disappoints. The chips are always hot. The spicy ranch dip is perfection. I love the carnitas… and the margaritas. Ohhh & the service is spectacular. 10/10!

Read the reviews about the service and so on, guys, calm down, for the prices you see at this restaurant and the thing that less and less people want to work in hospitality business, be grateful that this place is still working, but for others who visit this place often and leave only bad reviews one night when their food wasn't served as they expected...no comment.
Be more positive and leave honest review, not o Lu when you don't like something.
This spot has become a regular for my family and I. My kids love the chicken enchiladas. I'm a sucker for the birria tacos and my husband enjoys the salmon platter. Drinks are always good too. We always get the Monterrey cheese dip when we come whether to eat there or take to go. The service is also great here as well. They treat you like family.
For being notche’s this is it my new favorite restaurant!! Good on timing everything very good!! Better than expected. Very clean and organized. I will come here before I go to anywhere else. Muchos Gracias !!
This place was great. My husband and I went yesterday and everything was delicious. 😋 I had the combination 25 which had a beef burrito, beef enchilada, and rice and beans. My husband had the chicken with chorizo cheese dip on top, rice and beans and fajitas. So tasty!!! We can't wait to go back. Nice place as well as service.👍
We went with a large group. The food was good. Our basket of chips looked like the bottom of the bag (all little pieces) but then they brought some fresh ones. Yum. Our food was good. Our guests from Arizona thought the flavor was good but the rice was bland. Overall, really good visit.
Had a nice lunch special at Monterrey today. Reasonably priced and super tasty. The waitress was very accommodating and took great care of our table.
Seriously cannot say enough good things about this place! The service was awesome. The food was to die for. And when I almost died from eating white salsa thinking it was queso, the waitress ran like heck to get me a drink to put out the fire!
