Dragon gets the most important thing about buffets right: Cleanliness! Great Health Dept rating, utensils and serving stations well maintained.
On top of that the food is really good. My favorites are the bourbon chicken, grilled salmon and the Mongolian beef.

We were in town for ACC championship game, go Noles! The buffet was very good, clean đź‘Ś and well stocked. Soups were excellent, head-on shrimp left a little to be desired (mushey), Mongolian beef had some heat!
We had a hard time finding it ... out in front of Lowe's. Price was very fair.

Small place but with a good size buffet. Food was really good and hot. Had all the normal selections plus some I've never tried before. Waitress was speedy with picking up plates and refills. Haven't had a decent buffet in at least a year. This was a good choice.

Great food , not many choices as a regular buffet does but I like the fish , broccoli and shrimp. There is a togo option but it goes by the pound. Prices can vary depending on time you go.

My husband and I use to eat here on a weekly basis when we worked in Charlotte. We are now in York SC and drive up about every other Sunday for lunch buffet. The food is always fresh. They have a wide selection of food items. Their crab ragoons are my favorire compared to others. They are also reasonably priced and the staff is eager to assist. If you have not gave them try yet......you should.

The food is good obviously like any place you have to come when the food is fresh. I enjoyed the atmosphere here there was nobody in the restaurant t when I arrived but a construction worker and a mother feeding her family. Then all of a sudden more people just started coming in it was so cool just watching people come in.

My children are picky eaters. Very picky in completely different ways. They also will never agree to a type of food or a place to eat: except if I offer “the buffet”. They both agree, both find something they enjoy immensely, and I love the selection of dishes I may have not tried yet.
Dragon buffet is a delicious winner as far as I’m concerned.

I have been in multiple times and the beef is terrible. The sesame chicken is not consistent. Once is was okay and the next time the dish was horrible with nasty sauce and under-cooked peas/carrots. If you want good Chinese DO NOT GO HERE!! I will NOT be returning to Dragon Buffet ever again. GROSS about covers it. Wang and King down the road is 10 times better. Heck, frozen Tai Pei is 10 times better. Save your money and go elsewhere.

I love this place. Not the.... I love this place. <br/>Not the largest selection but in my opinion the best tasting Chinese Buffet around. <br/>The Teriyaki chicken is made in house and within view on the grill. <br/>Also I think it is a good value.

I've been to the Dragon several times over the past couple of years as I work nearby and I've never had a bad experience. Food is great. I'm sure if you visit during a slow period of the day the food may not be turned around as quickly and contributes to some bad reviews. Overall the place gets an A.

10 Years Later and Still Good. 10 years ago, I used to work in this area and this was an occassional lunch stop. Food was always great and the prices were right.<br/><br/>Today had a chance to revisit it and I'm happy to report, that it has not changed that much. Food is still great and the level of service has not changed but what can you expect from a Buffet. Still, what you can expect is that they keep the buffet well stocked and they excel at this.<br/><br/>Prices have risen but when you factor in inflation, it's in line and still a great value.<br/><br/>Bottom line is the food. It's still good. Not a fan of the chicken items because they tend to be a bit dried out but all of the beef and seafood tiems I tried this afternoon were superb. Veggies are done to a nice crisp crunch which is great<br/><br/>Kind of hidden away but it does make for a great lunch.

Great Buffet. I go here all the time for lunch. Its swamped- and there's a reason. Its good! Hands down the best chinese buffet this side of charlotte. Don't come here looking for a five star experience, and you won't be disappointed. <br/><br/>Hint- when getting the "to-go", go easy on the carbs and your bill will be cheap!

Not what it used to. I used to go to Dragon Buffet every month. Then things changed. The food's flavor and quality started going down hill. Yesterday was my last time there. Their fried rice was horrible. The sweet and sour chicken pieces were smaller than a McDonalds nugget. Yes it is all you can eat, but not worth the $ nor the extra calories.

Dragon buffet is an excellent Chinese buffet, the food is always warm and delicious. You should especially try their delicious buttered shrimp I give this restaurant five stars, it is great.
