This cart was right behind the halal cart truck in uptown last Saturday. Tried red velvet mini cheesecake and it was do delicious and it was 3$. He has other flavors of cheesecakes and also cheesecake ice creams which I could not try. Recommended!
I tried the key lime pie, peach cobbler & pumpkin pie cheesecake minis. I purchased them yesterday, refrigerated and ate them today. The peach cobbler was to die for! It was not to sweet AND seasoned well!
The pumpkin pie was interesting but still super tasty. Not very cheesecake-y the consistency was more whipped mousse than firm. The crust was also somewhat crunchy but delicious. The whipped cream was fresh and not too sweet.
The key lime square was rich, tart & with a perfect buttery graham cracker crust. I would drive 2.5 hours to Charlotte again just for these desserts!
Saw it while uptown and had to stop by. It blacked owned! Cheesecake and ice cream was delicious. Definitely a quick place to grab and go when looking for something sweet.
I ordered the half dozen assorted and got 3 flavors. Im pretty sure I didn't miss any small print but if I did apologize. I was a little upset about that. It said most popular flavors. We had red velvet, strawberry and we believe snicker noodle. That was my fav. We also had the key lime bar. It was really good. I would try here again!
I read about this place while researching our trip to Charlotte and lo and behold they were parking their trailer while we were pulling up to our hotel. I was t sure if you had to preorder before hand but when I approached you were able to order from the window. Service was great! I ordered a sampler tray and was priced very reasonably!
Catching up on reviews. I finally made it here on Saturday, 05-28-22. Needed some cheering up after a funeral, & cheesecake tastes better when I'm not making it.
The guy working the truck was pleasant & answered all of my questions. He also mentioned his wife though she wasn't there. I tried the key lime bar & the mini cheesecakes. I had the strawberry, banana pudding, & oreo flavors. I'm overdue for a return visit. I'm definitely trying the ice cream. A Black owned business I enjoyed supporting.
The folks at Cheesecake Carousel ALWAYS take care of us. The strawberry cheesecake is my personal fave (it’s so rich and delicious, oh my gosh), and the cheesecake ice cream is absolutely to die for! The prices are on point, and it’s definitely the real deal, New York style cheesecake.
Great ice cream! So rich, so go for one scoop if you’re getting after a meal :)
I had sampled their cheesecake once previously at a Yelp event. I was looking for a snack at Charlotte Shout and found their truck.
They offer cheesecake ice cream, cheesecake slices, cheesecake minis, and dessert bars.
They let you sample the ice cream. We sampled the strawberry cheesecake and banana pudding cheesecake ice creams and both were good.
We decided to get two minis ($5). One strawberry and one banana pudding. Both were good, but we both loved the banana pudding the most. The spices and banana were mixed into the cheesecake and it worked really well.
This is a great place to get some good cheesecake!
We approached the truck as the proprietor was locking. He reopened for us!! The NY cheesecake was amazing.
