Stopped here to wait for traffic to die down. I’ve never been here before. The food was excellent, staff was responsive and courteous, and the prices reasonable. Not to mention my Cherry Blossom roll was beautifully presented. I highly recommend. If I had to give a negative it would be the music playing in the restaurant. But that’s a personal preference and it might just be that I’m too old to appreciate the music. ;-) I spent $24 and I got a roll, an appetizer, and a small hot sake.
Our first time going and it was phenomenal! Staff was friendly. Service was very good and the food was amazing. Thanks for the exceptional dining experience. We will be back for sure.
For me it was overall 3.5 stars.
For the price, i think sushi was decent!
Tried firecracker and king tuna both were decent!
Wonton and miso soup is hit or miss, def not miso.
Tried their entree as well : schezwan chicken it was okayish, i think should have stick to sushi only.
Service is quick.
This is a go to spot and it always looks closed but once you’re inside it is a nice spot. The price point for how much food you get is great. It seems restaurants made their portions smaller and more expensive but here that is not the case. The experience gets better each time too the servers seem to remember you and actually even give good recommendations based on what I normally get and they have been on point each time! Highly recommend this place for a lazy lunch/dinner or even a date nigh.
I admit, I’m a sucker for Americanized Chinese food. This was my first time and I’m so happy I did. I had the sweet and sour chicken lunch meal. The difference that this place brings is the customer experience, service and attention to detail. Each food was simple, tasty and cooked with texture as a high priority. This truly put a smile on my face and made my day! I’ll be back as often as I possibly can. Thank you!
Koishi is one of the few places we enjoyed eating Asian food and liked the service. Also, one of the least expensive lunch we had in months. The look from outside could be deceiving.
We don't eat Sushi, but the soup and main courses were really flavorful. Service is prompt and sincere. The reason for not a five star is primarily because we asked for really hot/spicy main courses, but I had to add a lot of chili oil to make it hot. Also it looked as if it was closed from the parking lot, I had to go inside and confirm.
Will visit again when we are in mood for Chinese food.
Apparently this restaurant has been open for years (per other reviews), but without a sign out front, it didn't even look open. However, upon entering, you know you are in a nice establishment. Had lunch with friends here, and everything was delicious. You can see other customer's pictures for how good the food looks. I'll definitely be back.
The sushi rolls are great. Try the spicy tuna, spicy salmon or cherry blossom rolls.
Needed to drop a family member’s car off at Planet Kia on Independence for some work and was looking for Sushi for dinner. We stopped in and everything was perfect from the service to the food. You wouldn’t know this place exists unless you look for it as the sign isn’t the biggest but it’s totally worth going in and ordering one of everything.
NEVER A BAD MEAL. NOT EVER! Quiet place, clean, EXCELLENT sushi without all the glitz other places have to uncharge the meal. Get the Pink Floyd roll.
