Fish and chips was delicious. Sliders (cheese steak and buffalo chicken also great). Drinks were well poured, not overly boozy... loads of tvs and willimg to let u choose what to watch.
Service with a smile. Good place to start or end a round of bar hoppin.

We visited this place on a Saturday and I must say this was some of the best hospitality service that I’ve received since before the pandemic. Our server was super helpful and friendly. Our food came out hot and fresh.m in a timely manner. The only take away is there were two employees at the entrance of the restaurant who weren’t so welcoming. We didn’t receive a greeting and after a moment of multiple looks in their direction the gentleman mentioned that we could sit anywhere. We will be back.

So, i used to work in this building when it was Draught (miss those days) and also when it was Clutch (under former owners) and I must say the new management and owners have done a great job with the space and improved the quality of food. I typically stop in Wednesdays during lunch but will also swing by as a pregame spot on my nights out.
Today i discovered my new favorite menu item, The Steakhouse Salad. If u you sure lucky you’ll catch Katie behind the bar who is awesome.

Overall good food and good service. The Philly Cheesesteak was pretty good but a tad bit dry. Their waffle fries were perfectly cooked and crispy. The onion rings were slightly undercooked in my opinion. I love that they have outdoor seating available so we can bring our dog. We'll be back again.

Good college bar feel. Staff was super friendly and remembered what we had to drink previously which was nice. Had wings and nachos. Both better than expected.

I have been there several times for lunch with coworkers. Very good food and service. We order the chicken strip fairly often. Also good luck with the fish and chips and salads.

Clutch has been one of the goto bars for Panther and FC fans alike within the Gateway/3rd ward neighborhood.
Featuring weekly food and drink specials it's definitely a great spot to grab a bite and a draft to watch the game.
Their specality burgers are one of the best things on the menu. With the Stakehouse and Carolina Classic being top tier choices. Only wish there was an option for adding another patty.
The service itself has typically been pretty slow over the last few years which is to be expected of many of the sports bars in the area.
Overall, a solid spot if you're around the stadium

They sat me and my kids after a long walk and being turned down for having kids at another restaurant. Definitely a college bar feel, but still welcoming

We stopped by on our way to a highschool game at the Panthers stadium. They definitely have the right name...they came in clutch for sure. The shots, wings and fries were right on time. Delicious!

It was super crowded for the FSU game this past weekend, but the bartenders kept up. They also had plenty of TVs to enjoy the other games.

I recently had the pleasure of dining at Clutch Kitchen & Pour House in Charlotte, and overall, I had a great experience. The restaurant has a fun and lively atmosphere, with a great selection of craft beers and cocktails to choose from. The menu is creative and unique, with a nice balance of classic favorites and innovative dishes.
The standout dish for me was the fried chicken sandwich, which was crispy and flavorful, with a delicious spicy mayo that really elevated the dish. The mac and cheese was also a hit at our table, with a rich and creamy sauce that had just the right amount of cheesiness.
The service was friendly and attentive, and our server made great recommendations on both food and drink. The only reason I'm not giving Clutch Kitchen & Pour House a full five stars is that some of the dishes we tried were a bit hit-or-miss. While some dishes were outstanding, others didn't quite live up to our expectations.
Overall, Clutch Kitchen & Pour House is a great spot for a fun night out with friends or a casual dinner with family. I would definitely recommend checking it out if you're in the Charlotte area.
