My sons took me to the local scoop. And we all had those large waffle cones and are choice of ice cream and it was awesome. While we were there more people came in so there was just a whole lot of people in there, just enjoying ice cream. It was delicious!.

Excellent ice cream. I am FODMAP sensitive and many foods with artificial ingredients cause digestive issues. I asked about their waffle cones and woman behind the counter was nice enough to show me the mix they use. I had strawberry and vanilla in a waffle cone and no issues! Wonderfull!

The Local Scoop was a great experience for a sweet treat after lunch. We got the Blondie and Dutch Chocolate, and highly recommend Blondie. They’ve both cups and cones available. The staff is polite and there’s seating area available inside as well. Parking is available outside.
We will be back to try more of their flavours.

Great ice cream! Homemade waffle cones! Generous portions. They’ll make anything into a milkshake! The only downside is, they don’t have chocolate malts.

The fam loves this ice cream place. A fun cow outside for pics and a grassy area and fountain across the way for the kids to run around on. It is such a great place to get an amazing treat and wear out the kids. 😉

Wow! Some of the best ice cream I have ever had! I had a two scoop cup with Sea Salted Caramel and Banana Pudding. It was awesome. My coworker got a two scoop cup of honey vanilla and he liked it as well. Really great homemade ice cream. Highly recommend this place!

Called and placed an order for an ice cream cake. The employee (Will?) was extremely helpful and went out of his way to make sure the cake could be made in the time frame we discussed. Even better the "birthday cake" ice cream cake was amazing. Love the philosophy this shop operates on and you can taste the results in their products.

I have been going to the Local Scoop for ice cream for years now and always it has had fantastic service and delicious flavors including some coconut based (non milk) ones that taste great!
I just read several of the reviews and gotta say, wow folks, we are just making it through a pandemic! That they managed to stay open, kept optimistic and kept making great ice cream says a lot! I give them credit for being hard working good people who are doing their best to provide a nice treat despite the chaos of the last year or so!
I support local businesses where I can and nope, I am not related to them or have any business interest with them. What I do have is compassion and gratitude for their hard work, perseverance and I love their ice cream, yum!

Appears to be a very wonderful location. Nice staff and good portions. Very clean and neat. Very clean restrooms that normally tell me a lot about the place. Extremely nice owner that plays with flavors all the time and makes his own ice cream right here with locally sourced items.

Duuuuuuuudddeee!! This place is amazing! If you want homemade ice cream with amazing flavors then this is it.
Their Matcha ice cream is off the chain along with their cookies monster.

If you want nice service,good ice cream,lots of choices and smiles galore. Than you need to come to the local scoop.
We go there all the time as a family and are never disiponted.
As someone who has a lactose allergy going to get ice cream can just be a load of guilt but not her so many awesome dairy-free options.

Update:This places absolutely still the bee's knees, they always give such generous portions, and the employees are the absolute nicest, you will not find better ice cream around!
