This restaurant is eye popping with beauty. I loved all the different areas and art. First time in Charlotte and I went here to meet with my sorority sister. We walked right in and sat at the bar. The food was good but the drinks were better! The mimosa carafe was small but it was worth it. The atmosphere was very chilled. Parking is a hassle and if you are new to the area read the signs, pay to park, and drive slow you could miss the place. It seems to be in a downtown type area on a one-way.
The wait was not long. The service was great. The food order was not the best. The burger was dry and the bread that it came in was thick. The fires were fried to perfection though. Very spacious and you could come with a large group of people and be accommodated.
The restaurant is beautiful 😍! The service was okay I felt like our waitress got missing for long periods of time and it was pretty slow. The chicken was dry but the pasta was good. The salmon was pretty tasty. The brussel sprouts was dry as well. The drinks were very light.
Celebrating a birthday at this restaurant and it was a good place to chill, eat and not be crowded on a Monday. But the parking lot is at your own risk.
They have a wonderful deal on Fridays! Well drinks for $5. I'm sure the food is tasty. It smelled great. Not a far walk from the light rail as well!
The reservation was highly recommended as a must go to while in uptown Charlotte. I expected it to be very expensive but I was please to see everything on the menu was very reasonably priced. I ordered the “poisoned Ivy” drink which was recommended my the waiter as a very popular choice. I didn’t really care too much for the taste of it … but because I’m not wasteful o did drink it all. For food I ordered Blackened Chicken Pasta
Char-Grilled Chicken, Linguine, Blackened Cream Sauce, Tomato, Bacon, Scallion. I was very pleased especially because I love pasta ! The set up & design of the restaurant was very cool for pictures. I was told the back opens up to like a club like atmosphere so I have to come back to check that out. I would come back again & I do recommend.
The atmosphere was exactly what I was looking for in a sports bar/restaurant. We had a group of four and we’re seated promptly on a Saturday around 7:30pm. There were several college football games on their myriad of TVs, which I liked! The drink specials were phenomenal. The fried mushrooms were delicious. I ordered the chicken sandwich, which I thought was average tasting. Other than that, I highly recommend this spot!
Ink N Ivy had a very chill vibe. The service was great, food tasty, and the atmosphere/music was on point. I had the goat cheese burger. It was flavor and the goat cheese nice and creamy. The burger itself was a little overcooked, but it was good nonetheless. My daughter had the blackened chicken pasta. That was YUM. Add some crawfish and shrimp and you've got a very good cajun pasta. My drink was good, but I don't particularly like bitters, so I didn't love it, but it kinda tasted like a spiked Creamsicle. We went on Thirsty, so their signature cocktails were only $6. I'm gonna go back on a Tuesday for taco Tuesdays. I was told they they have a dj and salsa and batchata lessons on Taco Tuesday.
Post tax season jaunt to Charlotte and we headed straight from the airport to the Ink and Ivy. The environment is very hip and looking forward to coming back to see the nightlife scene. They have a great patio as well as plenty of indoor seating surrounded by a wall of of TVs tuned to all sports so you won’t miss any big moments. As far as food goes, we went all in on the bevies and complimented that with fried foods - a pairing I would highly recommend. But in all seriousness, our waitress Polina was great - very efficient and ensured drinks and food were delivered timely and as ordered. And our food was quite tasty. The sweet and spicy shrimp was the perfect blend of sweet and spicy. Looking forward to coming back for the night scene.
My lady and I dropped in for dinner Friday evening (5pm). There were no wait times and seating available. This location is in Uptown Charlotte so be prepared to pay for parking. There is a decent sized lot off the patio area at a rate of $12 for 24 hours. I love the ambience at Ink N Ivy. Nice & clean, well decorated and spacious. Great place for entertaining. They have nice bar area with ample seating and flat screens everywhere.
Now the food. We ordered the Spicy Lamb Meatballs as an appetizer. The taste was pretty good but they weren't spicy at all and needed more seasoning. For entrees, we ordered the Blackened Chicken Pasta and Salmon Fresca with a side of Mac N Cheese. Both entrees were delicious but the Mac N Cheese...oooweee! Cheesy, gooey, and creamy goodness with a crispy top. Must have! The staff was nice and friendly. Our waiter did an excellent job. We will return.
