Katz Deli - Charlotte - Photo album

Hours are limited so pay attention. Ingredients are extremely fresh and delicious. It's not Kosher - I wish they would just not serve Pork and/or Shellfish period - Who the heck needs that junk. Anyways, disappointed that they don't serve Hard Salami. Nevertheless, Pastrami was tasty and juice and s
Food is amazing!!! It's the real deal. Enjoyed the open face Reuben, had both the in-house knish and the NY Style..loved them both. We arrived early at 11:45 on a Saturday and the order was quick and we found a place to sit, when we were leaving it was very crowded...there was a line out the door. T
I enjoyed the Reuben, which was made with nicely sliced corned beef, but the bread was a little disappointing (thin). There was also not as much meat on the sandwich as with most Jewish delis. Provisions in Waxhaw still has the best Reuben in North Carolina in my opinion. My wife really enjoyed t
Excellent deli! Possibly the best in Charlotte. I went with my step day who was born and raised in Brooklyn and used to go to a Katz deli there when he was younger. He swears it must be the same people down here because it tastes exactly how he remembers Katz in NY. Anyway, the sandwiches are incred
Ordered the pastrami sandwich on a Kaiser roll with house made Russian dressing. It was AMAZING. By far the best hot sandwich I have ordered in North Carolina. The service was great and the food came out really quickly. High recommend and will be back to order the same thing!!
One of the absolute best Reubens I have EVER eaten. Of course all the best ones were in original delis. So glad there is a NY style deli in south Charlotte. Been a long time since we had one around here. Can't wait to try other items on the menu. Already thinking about the stuffed cabbage. Thanks gu
We didn't eat in but they have seating. It's a deli atmosphere. Portion sizes were awesome and both the turkey and pastrami sandwiches were sizeable and delicious. Quick no frills service where you order at the counter. If you are dining out they have chairs for you to wait. Definitely a high q
Craving for NY style deli so we drove 20+ minutes to Katz. Ordered NC best Reuben (don't remember the exact name) with corned beef. Absolutely the best sandwich in NC! The fish platter of pickled Herring is also very tasty! Too many options on the menu, will be back to try others.
Positives: It was a very good pastrami. Not too fatty and flavorful. Hand cut fries were good and a lot of it. Pickle was very good and the small side of cole slaw was very tasty. Negatives: I was expecting a little more meat for the price. At $13.50 for a pastrami sandwich, I was thinking it would
New York/New Jersey style deli with great food, customer service, and prices! We came here twice during my 4 day vacation because we loved it so much. My wife, baby daughter, and I had breakfast the first time we went there. When received our order we couldn’t believe at how much food we were gett
I was craving a pastrami on rye and decided to Google some places where I could get an authentic sandwich. Katz Deli popped up and I got excited but it was going to take me a little over half an hour to get there but I felt like it would be worth it and it really was. I ordered a pastrami on rye wi
I went to Katz's with my girlfriend and the food was fantastic! She got a brisket sandwich, while I got a pastrami sandwich. We agree that the pastrami is better, but only by a little. It's the best pastrami I've had in NC (which admittedly isn't a very high bar, but it holds its own against what yo
Today I stopped in for a sable sandwich. Beautiful fish, excellent taste, silky texture. Prepared and served by three very kind people behind the counter. At a table near me, a couple of guys who appeared to work there had stopped by on their off-day for lunch. That tells me something about the
Hi Lee.....my husband and I met you yesterday....we're from Bergen County, NJ. Just letting you know our sandwiches were out of this world....the knishes were beyond scrumptious.....the pickles and Dr. Brown's Black Cherry completed a delicious meal. It was great meeting and chatting with you.....my
I like the Roast Beef on toasted rye. The meat is always tender and flavorful. You get a small side, (potato salad) and a pickle. The matzoh ball soup is well done, broth is rich and flavoful.
Excellent breakfast. Not greasy, tasted fresh and great ingredients. 99.5 sanitation grade which is hard to find. New favorite for breakfast and lunch!
Had a good experience here. Food pretty good but what made it good was, I was slightly confused abt the 2 egg breakfast. It doesn't come with a meat in the weekend. I thought it did. When I spoke with them, they gave me the meat for free, even tho I was willing to pay. I will be back and send custom
