Update: I have returned a week later to try the sweet tea. Best sweet tea in Charlotte by a country mile! Fantastic!!! I’m a Charlotte native and today was my first time grabbing breakfast at Pressley Park. Wow! What a fantastic experience! The service was ultra friendly. The vibe was cozy. BEST PANCAKES IVE EVER HAD! Seriously… the batter was thick and rich and soaked up the syrup and butter perfectly. I also really enjoyed the biscuit and gravy and scrambled eggs with cheese. The bacon was good and the hash browns and orange juice were a bit underwhelming. Despite that, this place is really awesome! I’ve heard great things about their sweet tea so I’d love to come back for lunch. This place is a true hidden gem. So excited they’re still around after 60 years!

Looking for a taste of soul food this does it. I love the Tuesday special of Turkey with dressing & the chicken and dumpling soup. Wish they had some banana pudding on the Menu/ maybe next time … Enjoy I will have to to try the breakfast which I haven’t yet 👍

If you're looking for an off the beaten path hole in the Wall type of an establishment. This is it. I was a little concerned driving to the restaurant. But once inside, the food was absolutely amazing. I would highly recommend this for anyone looking for a quality local restaurant and diner.

What an awesome place to eat. It was my first time there and the place makes you feel like your at home. Tony greeted and served us, what a delightful man. Even the other customers were friendly. The free soup with our lunch was divine!!! I would definitely stop by anytime, just for that. I love that they have daily specials and with the nice size portions (if your like me) you will have enough left over for a snack. Budget friendly, great location and lots of parking, this is the place to be for a good quick bite and friendly smile 😃

I’ve e never had my order taken, like the owner here does. He even remembers your order from the day before. Never had service pike he does his! The food is like my Lil mawmaws cooking.

First visit in over five years due to a job change, but it was just as great as I remember! The service is always top-notch. They always make you feel at home. The food was just as great as the service. Just make sure you're hungry because the portions are a gracious plenty.

I am so happy this restaurant is still around after 60 years.!. Every visit is a time travel to the old fashion flavors and cousin. Fresh ingredients, friendly family owned & operated. Restroom sparking clean. every time I am in the CLT area I drive extra 5mil to have breakfast/lunch there. They open at 5am which is a plus for morning guys. For less than $7 bucks you can have a healthier breakfast better than fast-footers. Aug(2021)
