Review Reid's Fine Foods - Southpark - Charlotte

Cool vibe and convenient after shopping at the Soutpark Mall! It's a combination of a market, bar and sandwhich shoppe. They offer some wine tastings 2x a month so I would recommend checking it out. Pretty family friendly but also a good spot for lunch or working lunch vibe.

A really good place for a sunny day after shopping at southpark. The service is really good and everyone is courteous, welcoming. They got good wine list perfect for sunny evening. Tried their quinoa kale salad which was really good. It be even better if had some more dressing. Nashville hot chicken is not the best in town but satisfactory. Truffle fries are must and really good. Bean burger patty was really good and 4/5 Will recommend this for a summer afternoon or evening for sure.

I had meatloaf, potatoes, and brussels sprouts. Everything was very delicious and flavorful . The service was very kind and friendly. I will definitely return to try more items!

Came here for the first time just the other day. It was a little bit hard to find coming from inside the mall. Glad we found it. We both got sandwiches from the deli and they were absolutely fabulous. I had the spicy Italian on a baguette and it was truly mouthwatering. We sat outside on the patio and it was lovely. I pursued the selection of wine and cheeses while waiting for our sandwiches. I must say they had quite the collection. Would love to come back another time to take a more in depth look.

Love Reid’s! I just wish they’d offer more organic options (reflected in the 4 stars vs. 5). I’m the daughter and granddaughter of grocers from Detroit. Grew up in the business. I really like the old fashioned stores. We weren’t too hungry so we had our usual roast beef sandwich but we asked them to do it like a panini. It was delicious! I think we’ll have a drink the next time we visit South Park Mall. Stop by Reid’s, take it slow. Enjoy!

Great spot for enjoying this perfect Autumn weather. Outdoor seating available. My lunch was delicious and watching football outside was icing on the cake. Sandy, Cheryl, Kelby and Shannon are the best of the best. Eliza even helped me with my iPhone issue. ❤️ 5 stars.

Great experience being there for first time with my co-worker. Staff is very friendly and proffesional. We had all our questions answered and were helped by great suggestions. All staff we met were so kind.... special shout to out to this lady (Sydney Smith) whom we met and made our experience unique. Love this place and will def come back and recommend for anyone looking a great dining place....

Love to shop at Reids at Southpark! I was informed by General Manager Taylor Campbell who is so informed and very helpful that Reids supports local small businesses and actually how much of the products are produced in house. Everything is always so fresh and the meat department offers excellent cuts and the seafood is outstanding. Highly recommend the restaurant as well and they have great selection of wines by the glass or bottle. Great atmosphere! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

We went here for restaurant week and really enjoyed it. The food was amazing and I would have given this a 5 start rating, but the service was pretty bad. Another thing that wasn't ideal was that the menu they put out for restaurant week was not the same as the menu they put online. Considering people use the online menus to figure out where they want to go, they really shouldn't change them at the restaurant. We tried the Nashville Hot Chicken Sliders, Beef Short Ribs, Pimiento Stuffed Chicken, Caramel Cake, and the NC Buttermilk Pie. The sliders were delicious, but weren't at all spicy. I'm not a huge fan of spicy food, so that was fine with me, but I could see others being disappointed. The beef short ribs were tender and incredibly delicious. The truffle mashed potatoes that were served with it were also very good. The stuffed chicken itself with the corn cakes were very good, but it was served on top of collard greens which really took away from the dish. The caramel cake was pretty good, but the buttermilk pie was a lot better. The food came out very slow, especially considering we were one of the only ones in the restaurant. They also neglected to do things like refill our water. Overall, I would come back again because the food was really good, but don't expect great service.

This place is real cool. You can order fresh from the store of jummy goodies or dine in in the restaurant. Our waitress, Cheryl, was pheninomal. She educated us on this new hot whisky that's out. We enjoyed it all.

I recently placed a catering order for my company with Reid’s and had an incredible experience. The entire staff worked with me to ensure all of my needs were met. Special shout out to their assistant GM Sydney for working with me to make special accommodations for allergies and food preferences. She was there every step of the way. Thank you Reid’s and Sydney!

One of our go-to’s in Southpark, always have a great time on their beautiful patio. Live music on the patio Wed-Sunday. Food and service always top notch.

Struggled with a 3 or four star on this one. Decided to go 4 stars based on taste of food alone. This was a stop on our Charlotte Burger tour and a stop I've been wanting to make for a while as I've never been to this long standing Charlotte establishment. On entering I was in love. I will always love a small grocery store and think it would be a great place for a fun date. Pick out your meal, take it home and cook! Lots of fun options you won't find everywhere and what appears to be fresh ones too. We were sat quickly inside at a table with two screens which was very hard to get into. I barely fit between the screens and the table and I'm not a large person. I am not sure how others are making it happen. This is due to covid restrictions, I'm sure, so no points taken away for this. We sat for a while. At least 5 minutes, but likely longer before being approached by a waiter. We ordered wine and sat even longer before it arrived. In the meantime we realized quickly the acoustics are terrible and it was very hard to hear each other talk, however, we could hear clearly the people across from us. Once we got our wine, we ordered all of our food to get things rolling. A while later (we started to realize things must be slow here) our calamari fries and brussel sprouts came out...to the table next to us. After they looked at it and breathed all over it, (I hate when this happens, especially during these times) we realized it was ours and informed the server who quicky gave it to us. I loved every bite of both of these appetizers. The brussels were some of the best I have had. They were perfectly cooked and had a wonderful glaze. The calamari was definitely different. Nice and tender with great breading and a lovely thai sauce. The portions were big and we were quickly full. Being full soon became nothing to worry about as it took 30 more minutes to get our Burger. It first came out....again to the people next to us. We realized it instantly but couldn't get the servers attention before the other table grabbed it. Now, in this situation, after the server, our waiter and the manager all apologized; one would think that the very next burger off the grill would have come to us. Instead, they continued to serve the entire table next to us (the one that got our initial burger and the one that ordered 30 minutes after we did). So we waited and waited and ordered more wine. My wine was wrong (I didn't complain) and my friend got a wine she didn't order (they gave it to her at no charge anyway so we didn't complain). After waiting an insane amount of time we got our burger. It was good. We got pimento cheese, onions and bacon on it. The meat had a great taste as did each topping, individually. The big downfall was that it was quite greasy and the bun had a lot of grease soaked into it. The truffle fries were...ok. Tasted like they had sat under a warmer for far too long. The waiter came and asked if we wanted the check shortly after we finished. I thought it was odd because things had been so slow...now it felt like he was trying to push us along. But we were ready, so we said sure. We watched him walk around for 15 minutes talking to people and doing who knows what while we waited for our check. We finally had to go up to the hostess and ask to pay. We did express our concerns about the slowness then. At that point we had spent 2 hours in the restaurant since the time we sat down at our table. That's a lot of time for one hamburger and two appetizers. In the end they did give us two desserts for free that I had selected to purchase for home. The carrot cake was wonderful. Moist and delicious. The pumpkin cake was the opposite. Dry and dull. I will go back at some point to give them another try, but next time I'll go ahead and prepare to have a long evening just in case.

Our waiter Eliza was very helpful and courteous. He was there when we needed him without being overbearing. My wife and I were very happy with the goat cheese salad and the steak burger.

Deli bar is very good - Known as a grocery store, the deli bar delivers some excellent salads and sandwiches. The Cuban revivals those from Florida. Salads have a huge range of optional ingredients. Good place to get fresh sandwiches and salads
