There is plenty to take home.
I has the carnitas. Nice and juicy, plenty if beans and rice. Pickled onions and jalapeño. Very good menu item.

This is our go-to place for Mexican good! I got the fajitas- steak and chicken and my better half got the Camero AL MOJO! Plus the Mango margarita was on point!!+

Went on a Sunday and food was great and atmosphere was awesome. Mariachi was playing thru out the restaurant. Fajitas was well marinated and soft .

Always a pleasure to eat here when I’m in town. The fresh guacamole is always good, I had the 2 burritos meal and it did not disappoint! And don’t forget the free chips and salsa. Great food and service, reasonable prices. Can’t go wrong with most anything on the menu.

Delicious food, awesome hospitality and service. This is year 7 we have been going there. Our grands love going there especially on their birthdays. The staff sing Happy Birthday and the kids get to wear a huge sombrero! The staff are accommodating with helping to serve the cake we bring in from a bakery. Love this place. Love the food! I would recommend it to my friends and family.

Been there a couple of times. They have an outdoor patio in addition to a large festive dining room. Their entrees are not inexpensive, but for $18.95, they are pretty sizable.

The food is the best that we have found in the Charlotte area. The salsa is a bit too spicy for my wife, but I love it. The Barria tacos are so far my favorite. I just wish that they still served a cheese crisp.

I almost didn’t go inside because the outside was so plain an boring looking. There were lots of cars out front so I decided to take the chance. I’m glad that I did. The atmosphere inside is just right, the staff was friendly, the food plentiful and delicious. The margarita was huge and very tasty. I mean two hand huge. This place sits next to a hotel, but it looks to me that it was getting repeat local customers coming in while I was there. I definitely recommend eating here.

I've been eating at Azteca for years. It's always had great food, service and atmosphere. Recommended it to a colleague to meet there for lunch, and she absolutely loves it now. We'll be meeting there again for lunch soon!

UPDATE: Went for Valentine's Day dinner and it was wonderful to be seated right away. They have Mariachi serenading guests in the dining area and they were great! What a nice treat! Also, they have a notice on their entrance door notifying patrons of their price hike. It's a bit of a price increase but if you're a loyal customer of the restaurant and their food, you won't mind going back like we did.
One of my favorite go-to Mexican restaurants in the area. There's always a wait here especially on Friday and Saturday nights but luckily it's only 15-20 mins tonight so it wasn't really that bad. One new added feature is Karaoke nights which is kind of interesting for a Mexican restaurant but it was fun to see, or hear, customers singing while dining. However, It can get too loud and a little disconcerting when you're trying to enjoy your meal and are yelling at your date to hear each other or with your server because you can hardly hear each other. It was a bit deafening but food is good nonetheless.

If you love Mexican food, this is the spot!! The service is top tier and the atmosphere is refreshing. This is the perfect place for alcoholic drinks too. They definitely don't disappoint on the alcohol, it's the right amount for their mixed drinks. I highly recommend their frozen margaritas.

They have amazing ceviche! The drinks are strong. It was really hot in the bldg though. Salsa is meh but the salsa Verde is better.
