We don’t live near Charlotte, but every single time we make the twelve hour trip to meet loved ones, we stop here and bring a platter of Eggplant rollatini for dinner. Not only do they get leftovers, but it also comes with salad and garlic knots. They’re happy because they don’t have to cook and we’re happy because the price is reasonable, the food is delicious!, and we make our visit easy on our loved ones. Highly recommend!!

This our new favorite Italian spot! Italian food has never been our “go to” until we ordered here. We always order take out and it’s always packaged with extreme profession and tastes amazing (even if we have leftovers!). We always order an array of food from pizza to subs to pasta (and more)and it’s all amazing. Even the calamari (which stereotypically doesn’t travel well) is awesome! I highly recommend supporting these guys and trying their food!

Clean, friendly, quick service. Prices are fair. Ordered pickup and it was ready quicker than expected. Garlic knots were decent very garlicy and buttery the dough just wasn't as flavorful as I was hoping for. The pizza was hot and cheesey plenty of pepperoni but the sauce was very plain. Crust was ok again kinda plain... May go back for a slice but I wouldn't go out of my way to try again...

One of our tops restaurants.our family and me love this place. Food is delicious. There rolls are to die for. Garlic knots with their fresh made marinated sauce is amazing. Even their dressing is made from scratch everything is delicious and amazing. Plus the service and the owner that is always there is one of the nicest guy we recommend this place to everyone you won’t regret it.

Had a craving for some Italian & was NOT disappointed! Was greeted at the door & our server was completely fantastic!! It was our first time & she had recommendations & was cool with us asking questions.😃The food was freaking delicious!! We ordered fried zucchini (which came with marinara),Chicken Parmigiano(Sooooo good) & Chicken Pesto(My wife added salt but said it was Good!).I also ordered a small ceaser salad(they had an option in salad sizes which I love!) Overall, great place with yummy food!

The calamari was good and marina tasted fresh.
The garlic knots were also pretty good.
We ordered the three pasta plate and liked everything in it. Only room for improvement we saw was the chicken in the chicken Parmesan. It could’ve been juicier and bigger.
Food came out fast and service was friendly.

Is this authentic Italian? Not really, but that’s hard to find in the Carolinas. This is pretty decent compared to the other Italian restaurants around Charlotte.

First time eating here from out of town. Came here because it was close and the reviews were pretty good. We are kind of pizza snobs. A garlic knots were really good.. a lot of garlic sauce. Nice dough and big. The white pizza was good as well. We had a new waiter and I will say great customer service...very pleasant! Dog not catch his name. But thank you!

Cozy spot with delicious food. I always get takeout and I get chicken piccata, the sauce is really good; I squeeze some fresh lemon on it to make it even better. Salad is delicious too, I really enjoy the Italian dressing. Staff is very friendly.

Having never visited, i stopped in for lunch. I was immediately taken by the coziness of the place. Service was terrific, and my server was friendly and knowledgeable about specials and the menu at large. Food was quite good. I ordered the lasagna and a small house salad. Overall great experience, I'll definitely be back!

Where do I begin.....the excellent phone and in-person etiquette? The phenomenal atmosphere with 'hellos' and 'welcome' when you enter this fine establishment? Or do we discuss that at-home feeling you get when you smell the aroma of home made fresh pizza made with fresh meats and veggies. Most favorite pizza restaurant!!! I haven't been to G's in years. Frankly, I forgot about the place! I used to eat at Carlos on North Tryon just about every week for years. I believe these are the same people? Got the beef lasagna and a salad. The lasagna could have used a little more pasta, but over all it was very good. The service was excellent 👌 👏

If you are looking for delicious, fresh, homecooked italian food, this is the place to go. The dinner portions were generous (we had leftovers for lunch the next day). They kept our drinks refilled and the atmosphere was nice and clean. Bonus, they had plenty of vegetarian options as well.

Literally the best food I’ve eaten in my entire life alongside the best service I’ve ever received! Everyone is always so pleasant and so attentive. Sherry is our favorite; she always remembers us and has such a warm, welcoming attitude. The pasta is always incredible, I am in love with the pink sauce! And the pizza, omg, Grandma’s Pie is to die for! I can’t say enough good things about this place. It’s just perfect!

I was in town for a conference and found Giacomo's online. We were in the mood for pizza and decided it was close enough and not a chain pizza place. Let me just say, as a hospitality student and working in the industry, this place was amazing! From the food to the service, I was very impressed. We got the All in One Pizza which I highly recommend. I was shocked at how many options there were on the menu as well for entrees and pasta! Will definitely be going back and recommending to all!

My husband and I ate dinner here on a whim before a movie. We had the knots, both had the chicken parm with pasta, tiramisu and a cannoli. The food was delicious. It’s our “thing” to try knots at pizza places and these were some of the best ones we’ve ever had. Our server was great and apparently the owners son but his recommendation on chicken parm was spot on. We’ve already decided we are ordering their pizza to try Friday night for dinner. Along with an order of the knots of course!

Have a history there that goes back around 40 years. Amazing food. Carlo's, (North Tryon and Park Road locations), La Fontainella's (Matthews), and Giacomo's now. Know all the owners well ( Jack, Joe, Giacomo, Frank, and now Sal. We also loved Sal's restaurant in Concord, too. The ole waitresses like Vickie, Sue, Millie, and others saw us weekly and especially on family birthdays, anniversaries, graduations, etc. In fact, my son Ben worked there as a waiter.
The food is what I enjoyed growing up in South Jersey. New York style pizza and that amazing red sauce. Have always believed that the secret is in the sauce. Fresh food, homemade rolls that are served warm, generous portions, nothing microwaved, and even a good sweet tea. That took awhile to convince them to prepare sweet tea down here. � Still the best Italian food I have ever had and I currently drive often from Charleston to eat there. (I was there with my daughter yesterday) The family recipes remain intact and the value is excellent. Jack always said, "you go try other places....you be back!"
