I've been here in Charlotte for over 25 years and this is my first time in a Charbar No. 7 and I was not disappointed. I had the Leap Year Burger which has garlic aioli, bacon, lettuce, tomato, onion, a medium fried egg, and I substituted the American cheese for the jalapeño cream cheese from the Sweet Heat Burger. It was one of the best burgers that I've had in the Charlotte area. For my side, I got the shaved brussels, which were cooked perfectly with little pieces of bacon. I put some on my burger and it was 🔥. The pretzels were exactly what I hoped for, a little crispness on the outside, but soft on the inside. The honey mustard that came out with it was like a Dijon mustard and was very tasty. The cheese for dipping was good also. My date got the Black Bean Burger and kale slaw. The kale slaw wasn't great, but our server Melanie was very understanding and let her switch it out for a side of broccoli, which was much better. The atmosphere was very mellow, but I could see there being a more energetic crowd if there's a big sporting event because they have a full bar and lots of TVs. The bathroom was clean and well taken care of. For an appetizer, 2 meals, 1 dessert, 2 beers, and 2 mixed drinks the total was $93. While it might not be the cheapest place to get dinner, it was definitely worth it. The food was delicious and we were well fed.

I went in for a late bite to eat and a drink. Great place ! The atmosphere and lighting are just right. Had an excellent server. I ordered fish and chips very good, but it just lacked a little flavor, throughout the other dishes as well. Overall a nice experience definitely will go back to try something else.

Pros: Diverse menu Delicious food Opportunities: Takeout portions are smaller (but not bad) Items missing from order I'll give it another try, because we enjoyed our meal, and the menu has something for everyone. They just need to train the take-out window staff a little bit. They were very polite, but the opportunity for them is to check the accuracy of the order before the customer picks it up (especially when you're being tipped) The outdoor seating is great, haven't dined inside yet.

Enjoyed how they rested us quickly, had a number of different football teams/games on various TV’s. Both hamburgers were overdone as was the steak is another in the group. To their credit the restaurant made him another steak. 🥩 causing him to eat after everyone else was finished eating. So, good and not good. Having said that, I’ll go there again.

Ice Time

Definitely had so many amazing times at this restaurant. I’m definitely not going to stop coming back here. Although I don’t always go here to eat, everything about this place is amazing. The cleaning is incredible. Just go and witness it for yourself. Not just the outstanding cleanliness, but the amazing people who dedicated their time to make this busy restaurant feel better. I’m so grateful to have gone to this restaurant. Thank you everyone for your hospitality and unending dedication to try your best to make this restaurant better.

Hostesses were friendly and helpful, ambience was cool, bar chairs comfortable, bartenders attentive… but the burger was not seasoned at all. Felt like I eating cardboard. Bacon was thick cut and undercooked. Not pleased. Not enough to remove more than one star considering everything else went well, but I won’t return. Smokehouse burger was the special, which is what I had.

This is our favorite family restaurant. Service is always excellent and friendly, the atmosphere is exactly what you want - you can bring your kids without feeling like you’re putting anyone out, but you still feel like you’re out at a nice restaurant. It’s lively and fun without feeling like a bar. It’s clean. And the food is consistent. It just doesn’t disappoint!

Always good service, consistent good food, nice wings, local beers and selection of whiskey and more. Try the steak CB7 style. Outside and inside seating in a local rustic setting. The breaded mushrooms and pickes are perfect. Burgers made to order and hand pattied. Place is clean and has a cool outdoor fireplace area too! Would recommend!

The spot is in our regular rotation. We go at least once a month. They have fabulous salad choices for my wife steak salmon burgers for me. I Great mixed drinks if you like those as well.

So this review is a little different my niece was here with her cheerleader team and I picked her up so I was a little early and hungry so I ordered something. 😳 It was my first time eating here but definitely not my last Funny thing I told my niece what I ordered and she said she had the same thing 😂

My friend and I went there for lunch I got the blackened fish tacos with the sweet potato waffle fries and my friend got the Smoke House burger with the same side. Both meals were GREAT!!! Perfectly cooked and brought out in a timely fashion. The service was great and bathrooms were spotless! I would highly recommend this restaurant to friends and family, we will most definitely be coming back!

This is my first time visiting this place. It has a such cute open floor, light, airy, and rustic theme that I love. My waitress, Rhett, is so good to us. Very attentive, funny, outgoing and gorgeous! The food was orgasming good! My appetizer was Shrimp Scallop Flat bread, just surprisingly so good and light. I had the “Make my own Salad” (You get to chose 6 ingredients and a fruit) menu plus shrimps. Ahhhhhmazing! At the end, Rhett had her apron with multiple color pens that I get to chose to sign my receipt! I love it! I had a great time and will be returning soon!

Amazing burgers. We had the classic and it was juicy and perfect!! Chip fries were nice and crispy. Nachos came overflowing. Wings were well spiced. Good salty dog! 1 star less than perfect because of the nightmare parking. Perhaps when construction in the rest of the complex is done things will be better! We'll try again for sure!

I was there for my first time and took a friend with me on Tuesday. I ordered the fried mushrooms they were a little undercooked and soggy so the waitress took them back and have them cooked a little more they were much better then. And my friend got the tater tots actually he was giving french fries by mistake .so the server brought out some tater tots and they were overcooked and terrible. But having said all of that I really enjoyed the burger and I enjoyed the atmosphere I will Definitely go back!

Absolutely fantastic. Filet was cooked to temp and full of flavor. Blackened butter was a great success as an addition. Service was friendly and Kendall is the best, ask for her!!! Don't know her but she will shoot you straight. Highly reccomended.
