The food here was really good. Got the shredded beef, yellow rice and plantains! The creole shrimp also was really good. But I must say, the star of the show really was the mojitos! I’ve been to Cuba three times and this place has it spot on. We came as they were closing so the atmosphere was pretty empty. Looking forward to trying them out again..

Best Cuban food around. Loved the empanadas. Everything was very flavorful and nice portion sizes. Got the crispy beef with chimi churri sauce and it was excellent. Recommend to anyone looking to try Cuban food or a nice date night out. Band was just setting up as we left but I'm sure the live music is bumping.

Came with a party 6, the food was amazing as we got many different items. Ordered multiple cocktails and all were also very good. Favorite was the coconut mojito. Even though they had a party of 28 that night the waitress was very attentive. Very good music and a good mC as it was karaoke night as well. If you’re looking for a Latin place to dance on a Friday Saturday definitely recommend

The food here is amazing!! The service is a little slow but the food more than makes up for it. I was a little disappointed they were out of the one appetizer I really wanted to try. I had the crispy beef with congris (rice and beans) and plantains. It was phenomenal. The person I was with got the Cuban sandwich and said it was great. I was also a little taken aback by the upcharge if you wanted a different side than fries with a sandwich. $4 is too much when the fries are listed on the menu as $5 and the other sides are $6, feels like the upcharge should be $1, no?

Food is great. Love the steak, plantains and fried yuca. When I went there weren't that many people still the atmosphere was pretty welcoming. Give it a try. They do have a bar if you want drinks 🍸 😏

This was a nice place. Clean and friendly staff. Had the sangria carafe and it was tasty. Not a pork eater and the menu is heavy on it, but the beef options are few. Food was flavorful.

Can't wait to try this location! The ropa vieja was very flavorful. The tres leches cake was perfect as usually I find they are too soggy. This was delightful! Very prompt with my take out order. Looking forward to trying more from the menu!

I really really loved it this was the first time that my sister and I had been there. The Cuban sandwich was good not the best I've had but it was really good the empanadas were amazing. The plantanos were good. But the service was a little off. She needed more personality and checked for our drinks more but other than that it was really really good. We will definitely be back to try something else.

There's live music here and good food.

The food and service is too tier! We order and the food came to us so fast also 😊 The only small issue is the appetizer, we only got like 3 plantains. The rest of the appetizer plate was empty.

I liked the Vaca Frita and the service was quick! Unfortunately they do not update Google or their call system with their hours of operation. I came on January 2nd, around 6pm and it was pitch black inside and closed. I called and checked Google before driving and the automated system said they close at 9pm. They need to be more mindful of providing their hours, especially if called.

Went on a Friday, late afternoon, before the dinner rush. The music was wonderful and the staff was very attentive. They answered all our questions and gave great recommendations. I got the roasted pork with onions (which is a popular dish there), yellow rice and plantains. It was really good.

We went to A Piece of Havana for the first time for an early Saturday dinner. We were looking for something different, away from our neighborhood, The staff was very friendly and helpful, but in spite of ordering when the restaurant was not at all crowded it took thirty minutes to receive our sandwiches. I ordered a Cuban sandwich and my friend ordered a Miami sandwich. After our wait, however, the sandwiches were delicious (and hot). We left shortly after the music began, with a man with a good voice singing. This is a fun place. The food was delicious and reasonably priced. The staff was great and the music looked like it was going to be entertaining. We will definitely be back, and very much recommend it. Update: We visited again. This time the food was still excellent, plentiful and reasonably priced. Our server, however, was difficult to find. And this time the music was playing the entire time we were there. The music was very, very loud. It was impossible to communicate across the table. I don't know why the music is played at that volume in such a small space.

Awesome place, the service has been always good, it is located at the end of a shopping strip, plenty of parking spots. They frequently have a live band or music, you have the choice to sit inside or outside on the patio, the food is always excellent as well as the service. The waitress was knowledgeable and was always willing to help and go inside to ask if she didn't know the answer. I would recommend this place, have been there 3 times already

The fish I was served was delicious. The environment was very relaxing. The staff were very curious but the only reason why they don't get five stars is because my waitress messed up my order because she doesn't speak English. However the manager did rectify any issues and I left out happy.

Delicious food and great ambiance! We ate in the main dining room a few months ago on a Saturday evening and experienced live music and customers dancing next to their tables! What fun! We went last night and the dining room was full, but they have the lounge right next door that serves the full menu and drinks! They also had live music, but this was only one guy playing the guitar. No singing, just beautiful music! It was so lovely! I highly recommend this place for a fun night out in the dining room or the lounge! Food is delicious as always!!

Not the best Cuban cuisine. After a great afternoon at the movies with the family, we wanted to have some Cuban style food and my son said that there was one in Charlotte that they wanted to try and had heard it was good - Piece Of Havana. What a mistake!!!! We got there around 6:30 pm and the table that we called to reserve for that time was not ready. We sat down and it took forever to get our drinks and even more to get the meal order. We ordered the appetizers with the drinks and the kids meal came first and then the appetizers. It took forever to get the meals we ordered. And surprise, surprise, most of the food was cold. I ordered Churrasco and it was cold and had no flavor. My son and daughter in law ordered the Pan Con Bistec, a steak sandwich and the bread looked like crackers as it was very thin and the steak was more like jerky as it was paper thin and over cooked. My wife ordered Ropa Vieja and it was again, cold. In addition she found a piece of bone in it. We complained to the waitress and she indicated that it was not the first time she heard the same complain on a Sunday. We were expecting the manager to come and talk to us, but management never came and apologized. They provided a discount for the aggravation, but to me that was not enough. We did not return the food as the original order took close to an hour to get to us, imagine if we had to wait even more for the replacement. I will not recommend this restaurant and will never be back.

The atmosphere, food and drinks are on point. Our server Victor was a great server. Plan on visiting again.

Great food!!!! The Ox Tail is worth the hour drive to get here! The Cuban green beans are the best I’ve ever had. Already thinking about the next time we can come here for dinner!

Atmosphere and food were great. I think every evening, at least on the weekends, there is music. I see they also do flamenco and salsa dancing there as well. It makes it feel like I'm in the Caribbean on vacation! The food was also very good - the appetizer, chicken and steak were all good. The sangria wasn't the best I've ever had but it was very very good - I liked it better than the Columbia restaraurant.

Slow services and the food was not authentic Cuban food. Please hire someone Cuban who knows how to cook Cuban food. The server didn’t know what were Cuban pastelitos. Are you serious? I’ll just travel to Miami to get authentic Cuban food from now on.

We’re from Miami and my wife is Cuban so our bar is high but the place was very good. Atmosphere and service was excellent and food was very good. Wanda Lopez performed and she was fantastic. She came up to each table and asked where everyone was from and has a voice that rocked the house. We’ll definitely be back.

I live in Cassatt SC and drive 90 minutes to come there the food was great the fish with the shrimp stuffing and avocado cream not so much way over cooked our waitress Jazira she said that she was New was awesome. My biggest problem was the food took a while to come out and they weren’t busy maybe eight tables none larger then a six and maybe 6ppl at the bar and two dues outside. The appetizer sat under the warming lamp to long but we will definitely be back again. FYI it’s the only restaurant sense living her in SC that I went back to more then once.

One of the best meals I have ever had. Here in town from Ohio and I'm so glad we stopped here for dinner!! The beef Cuban turnovers were so good and the Lechón was to die for

One of my co-workers invited me to come for her birthday party today. We had to wait a good 30-45 minutes for our meal as a group but I gave 4 stars because the food was so good especially the yellow rice.

I really want to give 5 stars just based on the food and the great atmosphere but they had failed to write down my reservation (luckily there was room to sit at the lounge next door) and I had mold in my water :( Very friendly staff though.

Wow amazing food! We had been traveling for a week from Las Vegas and we needed some home cooked food!! I was raised on Cuban food ! Amazing place
