Review Panera Bread - Charlotte

I love Panera. This location is my boyfriend’s and my favorite place to eat. We love going there. It has been on point in the past. The last two times we have ordered delivery the food took longer than the time quoted by only 5 mins yet the food was cold as if it hasn't been heated at all. This location do better. I hope things get sorted out, I want to continue being a patron.

Panera disappointed this visit. I ordered the Toasted Frontega Chicken. When I opened the wrapping the Chipotle sauce was slathered everywhere. It was extremely messy.

Modern Greek Salad with Quinoa is a must for vegetarians or vegans. I’ve always had a good experience here.

Great soup and sandwiches. Never disappointed, each time I visit the States/Canada I look forward to have a meal here.

All employee there are great and are very nice. They always greet you as you enter in. Fast with superior service.

I have watched Zacariya help improve this location immensely. She is very friendly, professional, hard-working and keeps the restaurant clean and well stocked!!! Thanks Panera for hiring her!!!

Ordered the BBQ chicken sandwich online, the food was ready on time when I got there and really good, but it came in two tiny sandwich “halves” so order the full sandwich if your hungry.

Not just sandwiches. Panera offers a rotating selection of soups, salads, breakfast items, and a bakery. Your best bet here is to order online because it is busy for breakfast and lunch if you're dining Monday through Friday. Evenings and weekends are pretty quite. I love Panera Bread! This location was pretty nice. My husband ordered a regular coffee but they did not have a fresh brew of Dark Roast, mentioned it to one of the staff and she got it made for him- really sweet about it. Awesome staff and nice environment.

Came here for a downtown dinner and the location was perfect. Easy to to find and a short walk from the Embassy Suites hotel and NASCAR museum. We were greeted and quickly placed our order. The food was very typical of other PBs so no surprises! The quality was just as good as others. I can highly recommend this location when staying or working in the downtown Charlotte area!

Great staff, good food, highly recommend. We were in one at Rock hill it wasn't so good as one in Charlotte

Well for starters to my great eating experience The Establishment was absolutely clean the music was very mellow not too loud not too low there was nice lighting the staff was very professional and friendly inpatient when I really didn't know what I wanted because it was my first time eating there then very much made suggestions on what I could maybe want and gave me plenty of options.. Justin came out to greet me he was awesome he introduced himself he also was working behind the counter helping out as well the staff was smiling and they were very pleasant I would definitely go there again and as I said the food was awesome the four cheese grilled cheese was great I also had a I think it was like a Mexican salad it was very very good the dressing was awesome and I had an unsweetened iced tea which was very good

We haven't been to a Panera Bread in 2 years because sadly we don't have them in Germany. So the first thing we did after arriving in Charlotte was to find a Panera Bread� - totally worth it. So glad they still have the Poppyseed salad. The staff was super super nice so we left as super happy customers last night and came back for breakfast this morning. Love the Bagel ��

Let me start this by saying I understand we are all human and we all make mistakes. Being a picky eater, I am no stranger to places not getting my order correct. Not a big deal, fix it and we will go on. It is not human or normal to be unfriendly and rude. First go around the sandwich had tomatoes on it, when "no tomatoes" was clearly stated on the receipt. I walk back from my office to the location to have this fixed. When I get up to the counter, I encounter a woman who takes the sandwich and says "so it was just the tomatoes" - I agree and she walks off. She comes back and says to me "okay go around the corner and you can pick your sandwich up" - no sorry about that, no smile, just blah. So, ask at this point for a refund because by the time I get back to work my lunch hour will be over. She walks off and a manager comes up, he first attempts a refund of a lesser value than what I had and was nice enough to fix it when I expressed my add ons. He tells the employee at the counter to make sure the sandwich is right and that I get it soon. As soon as he walks away she says to me, "just go around the corner to pick up". So, I go around the corner - wait, wait. Then I hear what I think may be my sandwich but I'm not sure and it's being taken up front. A very sweet girl comes back and hands me my sandwich and I decide this go around to check it. Well, now it's missing the bacon - on a "bacon, turkey bravo sandwich". So back to the front I go - this time I encounter a girl that is very pleasant, smiling and says she's so sorry and even jokes with me about the fact the sandwich needs bacon. She personally goes back and speaks with someone about the sandwich. So, I go again around the corner to pick up - when I get here I find a woman in the back arguing with the expo person saying "what's wrong with it now, I made it that way" - she continues to argue with this poor guy and I speak up and say it's missing bacon. So she starts making the sandwich again, then with an attitude turns around and says "well do you want the Gouda cheese" - at this point I can't believe what's going on and I told her just to read the receipt for what it is. Finally, after almost an hour, my lunch break is over and I'm back at my office with a sandwich. Oh yea - so on this go around they left the chips out of the bag and left the turkey off the sandwich - not even worth it - it's comical at this point. Advice - teach your employees just to be nice when someone comes back with an incorrect order - I understand that happens and that's not the big deal, it's the attitude and lack of general customer service that they showed. When you're buying a $10 sandwich you at least want to get what you ordered.

I will never eat at another one of your stores again until you reverse your policy on guns. Stick to making sandwich and stay out of politics. You already got two police officers killed. How many more must now from your policy of "we're unarmed, criminals welcomed"?

Great service good food

I went to this Panera Bread at 8:25 am this morning to get bagels for a birthday celebration. First, they had very few bagels in the bins but I assumed they had more in the racks in the back. I wanted a baker's dozen (i.e. 13). There were 3 plain bagels in the bin. While I wanted 6 plain, that would have to suffice. When I asked for those 3 bagels, I was told that I couldn't have them because they were for another order. I asked if they had any more bagels in the back and they told me no. I asked when they would have more bagels and they couldn't tell me. They had no cranberry walnut, 1 sesame and a few other random types. It was clear I wasn't going to be able to get my 13 bagels. At that point, I left and went somewhere else to get pastries. This is a Panera Bread in the heart of Uptown Charlotte with office buildings everywhere. Why did they not have bagels at 8:25 a.m.?????

Great service! The man that helped me in the morning of 4/19/17 around 7am was efficient and kind. He has great customer service! So far he has been the nicest Panera worker I have ever met and I travel all over the country for work. You need more workers like this man. I apologize I did not get his name but he was very tall, dark hair.

Currently experiencing my worst Panera experience of my life. I came to pick up my online order and they had forgotten about it. Now I have been waiting for 15 minutes for them to remake my salad. It's a salad it doesn't take long to remake. I am furious with this service and will likely not be coming back to Panera for a long time.

Service sucks...I could not get lunch here today because it was taking ten minutes to serve one customer.

I'm very, very disappointed with my experience at this Panera Bread. I ordered a very large catering order, called to confirm everything was complete and what time it would be delivered, prior to the day of delivery. I was hosting a meeting and in the past have been impressed with the service and quality. Not this time!! The day of my meeting I received a call 2.5 hours prior to delivery and 5 minutes before the start of my meeting. At that time I was told "we can't deliver to you today. We are too busy". That was the exact words used. I thought it was a joke at first but soon realized it wasn't awoke at all. Instead it was a nightmare and I only had 5 minutes to solve it. I explained that this was not acceptable as I had no way to get another order from somewhere else with this type of short notice. I asked if another Panera could deliver and they simply said "no". There was an excuse on why they couldn't do it (too busy and backed up) but no solution. I offered to have someone pick it up and they said no... Really?! I still can't believe how I was treated and the compete nonchalant attitude of both the first caller and the AGM I spoke with after asking for a manager. I understand "things happen" but to call a customer and say "we can't deliver" on something already confirmed and paid for is unacceptable. To not offer a solution is outrageously BAD business. I order catering of $300++ quite often for meetings I hold and I almost always use Panera. This experience has turned me off from Panera Bread completely, which actually makes me sad. I did think I might get an apology call today so I waited to post this message. Unfortunately I didn't get a call nor any type of notification that my credit card had been credited. As a matter of fact, it still has not been credited. Apologies to anyone reading this long message but bottom line, I would recommend you NOT do business here, EVER!
