Been coming to this Showmars for years now. The food and service is always good. The parking lot can get crowded around lunch time.
I've been in the area for about two days now, and my first visit was yesterday evening. I had an amazing grilled chicken chef salad, which was so fresh and well prepared I had to hobble back up the hill for lunch. I ordered the three piece flounder platter with fries and cole slaw with a fruit cup. I get back to my room and opened up a grease box! The fish wasn't fried well at all so much so that the skin was slipping off the fish. NO! NO! NO! Fish is supposed to be seasonsed and fried well so it has that perfect crunch. I could only get one piece down. The fries were greasy as all get out as well. The only thing I enjoyed were the hush puppies, cole slaw and fruit. Normally, I would take something like that back, but I'm on a cane and just couldn't take another step. It was a waste of money. Prayerfully, they will fix this going forward.
The service was great! And half the meal was really good! The fish is an issue. Please add seasoning to the batter, just a little. Please! Other than that I enjoyed the meal.
Great customer service tonight made accommodations for what I wanted without hesitation. When I arrived there were multiple friendly takeout associates and the food was great. I also saw a difficult customer situation get handled quite well. I was impressed with the attitudes of who was working and how they handled a busy night

Customer service is always great at this location. You can tell they care about their clients and their satisfaction. Whenever I have the slightest issue I am able to speak to a manager who shows great empathy and support. I’ve spoken to a few others in the past but the recent ones I can recall are Joe & Scott. Thank you both for being so great!
The food itself is great. I absolutely love their fried fish sandwich. I add cheddar cheese, bacon, slaw, and the whole nine! The popcorn shrimp is delish. Love their backlava. Fries are good to be considered crinkle fries! I wish they stayed making the lemonade how it was before. They changed the recipe and it’s not like it used to be (sad face). But I can never have anything negative to say about this place! I hope they stay around and multiple! Best food & service in university area that’s a clean place, and one that always cooks food correctly, with a smile. That’s a lot to say since the food in this area is bad and the service is even worse. Use their app so you can get rewards!
Great food and fast service. I visit this location often and highly recommend trying the greek veggie pita, fish sandwich, or flounder and shrimp combo. The grilled zucchini & squash is really good too, but can be a little oily at times.
The food was so yummy and the customer service was great. The workers chatted with me while I waited for my food. The food also comes in big quantities and take out was very very fast.
This place is always awesome. Greek salad with chicken or gyro is awesome. Fried Flounder is always super....and the pitas are great. We love this place at least twice a week with pick-up or dine in. Service is excellent.
My aunt loves the fish and shrimp with okra.
My order was a little messed up 😲 but I still LOVEEEEE 💖 them, the Gyro 😋 and the fish (tilapia) was good (fried a little hard and I didn't want fries 🍟) but once again I was pushing it cause they was about to close. But they still get 5 ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
