Punta Cana Caribbean Restaurant & Grill - Charlotte - Photo album

Caribbean Restaurant with a lot of options. Very efficient service. Plenty of parking. Platanos Maduros we're fantastic and plenty. Pollo Gisado was well-seasoned but had a lot more bone pieces than expected. Even then, the amount of meat was enough. A little dry though. Yellow rice tasted as exp
Needs some upgrades. Food was good. My black beans were a little cold. There was 5 of us, everyone enjoyed their meal. One guess had red snapper he said it was a little dry. Other than that the food was good and the waitress was attentive. Good service.
It is a great place to eat. Fantastic food and wonderful service.
A very busy restaurant for vey obvious reason. The food in this place was excellent! It actually turned out to be a much better place than I expected. The service at the table was very attentive for the most part, considering the activity and demand. My wife and I were visiting from SC, and enjoyed
I can't say enough good about this place.the atmosphere was completely inviting. The wait staff was not only prompt and friendly but gorgeous as well The food was impeccable. Perfectly seasoned, perfectly cooked and plated. It's been 6 years since I moved from NY. I have found my authentic Dominica

Today we visited Punta Cana Restaurant. We live in Charleston SC. I will say the place was clean. I just knew it had to be good it had a good amount of customers in the restaurant. The food was delicious as well as the portions. The presentation of the food was good. We had pork and mofongo, c
Being honest, I have never had Dominican food before but I did grow up in Brazil and recognized several of the dishes on the menu. The smells just walking in were divine! I had the beef pastelles and devoured them promptly before taking pictures and they definitely reminded me of the ones I got in B
Will I be taking that 2 hour drive to Charlotte more often? YES! This restaurant has the best Dominican food in NC. My husband had the white rice with beans and chicharrón which he said was so good! It was cooked perfectly and seasoned to perfection. I had the mofongo with shrimp and sauce. It was d
Great mofongo con pernil. The tostones seemed like they had only been fried once instead of fried, smashed, and refried. Mayo-katsup was spot on. Flan de coco would have been better with out the old maraschino cherry and chemically red drizzle. Sad that they were out of ceciche de pulpo y camerones
Place was busy on Sunday at lunch time. Excellent service! I had the sancocho (stew) and it was just as good as my momma’s 😋 The limonada (lemonade) y jugó de piña (pineapple juice)were delicious and refreshing just like back home 🇩🇴
Very good, it was a nice surprise. I was in Raleigh, NC and went out of my way to Charlotte, NC two and a half hrs to get a decent mofongo with carne frita.
Great caribbean food! Very good mofongo with carne frita. Delicious tostones, maduros and yuca frita. We wanted all of the things in the menu. Hope I can visit soon. Saturday nights they have loud music (which I love), but if you do not like loud sounds I would recomend to avoid going here on saturd
