My friends and I usually take turns picking a restaurant to go for Sunday brunch. Having been to several Blackfinn’s in the past, I picked it, and now my friends want to go EVERY Sunday! We had the Southern Skillet, and it was amazing. It’s a great place to watch football, drink, and eat! The staff has always been attentive and helpful! Example: I went to Blackfinn in Wilmington NC and the guy sitting next to me overheard my conversation about an item on the menu, he so happened to be the bar manager Peter Thomas, who was off work eating brunch; he answered my question and made sure I was able to get what I wanted! Love Love Love this place!
This was our first time at Blackfinn but it definitely won’t be the last. Everything was fresh and you could tell homemade. The cocktails were great and the customer service was exceptional. The manager even came by and spoke with us. It is the most elevated food for a pub I have ever had. Highly recommend!
Had Dinner, the deep fried devil egg, burnt bree (wasn't good), the burnt taste was too over powering. Had wings with sweet chili sauce and white Alabama sauce. Also had a chicken sandwich, very good. Great service and good atmosphere for football too.
I came here to watch some football and the hot honey chicken flatbread was phenomenal. They also had proper ice cubes for the bourbon.
First time there, had fish and chips, watermelon tuna poke and my wife had a flat bread, all were very good. The watermelon in the poke was good but also looks a lot like Tuna so feel like it was filler to a degree decreasing the amount of tuna. Beers were a tad expensive for local fare, $8/beer. I'd go back, but probably only have a single beer to keep it under a $100 bill for bar food.

Quick story, My Fiancé and I had a fantastic but very long day. We came to Blackfinn to get something to eat but we needed to eat as fast as possible, my fiancé and I did not eat all day as we were too busy to stop anywhere and grab a snack. We came here and spoke with Chloe and I had told her that my fiancé was not feeling good at all (I was worried she could faint or throw up at any second), I asked Chloe if she could find some crackers in the kitchen to serve us so she could have some calories to settle her stomach and head. Chloe couldn’t find any saltines in the back but had some on her and gave them to my fiancé which helped her immensely. As soon as we sat down our sever came to greet us, his name is Dante. Dante put our dinner orders in immediately and the cooks were able to cook our Alfredo and bbq Mac n cheese in less than 10 minutes and we were eating in less than 11 minutes. I haven’t received true genuine care and situational understanding from a restaurant like this over 5 years.
If you come here to eat, it is in your best interest to request Dante as your server. He will take care you and your company in the most professional manner. I am grateful that we swung by here to eat and to have met Dante and Chloe. Even though I haven’t met the back of the house, the cooks are fantastic!!! Their speed and quality in getting the orders ready was something to see in a movie theatre. Needless to say, I have found a new favorite within all of the Charlotte metro area, Blackfinn Ameripub!
We came on labor day for lunch! We were seated quickly and the atmosphere was really nice. Everyone enjoyed their food. Our food came out in a timely manner. We had the shrimp appetizer, forgot the picture! We all had entrees. The food was very good. The fries are love. My baby loved her kids meal pizza. I personally didnt like the mixed drinks. I cant explain it. I tried 2 of them and they werent for me. I had the blt chicken tacos!! Their tortillas are the best. My love had the bama buttermilk chicken sandwich. One kid had a pub burger and the other a buffalo chicken sandwich!
I went to Blackfinn's in Ballantyne for dinner and drinks on a Thursday night. They have a really cool bar with an awesome selection of beer. I tried the fish & chips and really enjoyed it. My date had the fried tenders, and she said they were very good. Blackfinn is a fun place to meet someone for dinner and drinks.
This Food is amazing 😍!! Just stoping in to visit family, they brought us here, we loved it.
Looooved the bartender Tori she's amazing!!!! I wasn't a big fan of the fried deviled egg, but it wasn't too bad.
Just went for drinks after work and some appetizers. Only had some of the pretzels and a piece of the backend brie. Wasn't a big fan of the backend brie. Pretzel bites were good. Service was good. Drinks kept filled.
I had the Chicken Avocado Salad for Lunch on Saturday. I had the Turkey Meatloaf with green beans and sweet potato casserole for dinner on Sunday. Exceptional customer service in both occasions. Delicious food that is fresh, hot and well seasoned. Fantastic dining experience.
