A hidden gem! Amazing food! Friendly & great service! Highly recommend!
Everyone was very friendly. Service was prompt and courteous and the food was really good. I had the Enchiladas Al Horno. Three enchiladas, one each in, chicken, ground beef and steak. Very tasty. After speaking with the owner about their Mole sauce... I think I will be trying the Enchiladas Poblanas next time.
Love this place. Great food, great service, great part of town! The salsa is really delicious. Had a taco salad and wasn't that excited about it when my friend ordered it, but we shared it and it was amazing lol.
The server was great. Chips and salsa were good. We both had Carne Asada and the steak as very tasteful. The rice and beans were average.

OK SOOOive been on a Birria taco kick for awhile.. I tried them here today and they were GOOD! 1 Order. Comes with 4 & they give you a HOT Verde sauce and a medium sauce. The Consomme sauce was a little loose but good flavor. I give them a B+! I will be back. Ya'll go check em out!
Three Amigos is a small spot in a strip mall on Central. It draws crowds from all over Charlotte and offers more traditional Latin-Mexican dishes compared to sister restaurants Sabor and La Caseta.
Margaritas are strong and they have a bevy of flavors both blended and OTR. The menu has tacos, tortas, fajitas and traditional Latin entrees. We’ve tried at least half the menu and our favorites are the enchiladas, tacos and chimichanga. The mole enchiladas had a surpringly deep roasted, rich flavor. It’s what I get most of the time. The Al Pastor tacos are a hit with us as well as carnitas, carne asada and shrimp.
Service is good. Food comes out fast. Lunch can be more busy than dinner but you can still get in and out quickly. Parking is available in the strip mall lot but spots can hard to find when it’s busy. You can park in the surrounding area on streets/neighborhood. TA is a good spot for Mex if you’re around Central.
I love Mexican flavors!!! My taco shell was still crispy when it was delivered. The food was ok.
I have been going to Three Amigos since day one. It is a little hole in the wall, the servers were learning English and the same one's that waited on me then are running restaurants for the company! Of course, without risk of sounding like an elderly person, margaritas were $5!! But that was also thirteen years ago. Times change. Now the days of cheap drinks are gone but the food remains delicious and they squeeze fresh limes for all their cocktails. My favorite dishes are a plain quesadilla and the enchiladas verde, they also have delicious tacos de birria. These are the best in Charlotte. They have specials every day. Wednesday is half off tequila blanco shots, Friday is a margarita special day, not sure what the other days are. You see what my interest are! Go check out this tried and true Plaza neighborhood little diamond in the rough.
I had been wanting to stop in here, and the opportunity finally presented itself.
Sarah was the bartender whenever I stopped by. Her margaritas are phenomenal. Ask for her by name.
The waitstaff are professional, courteous, and friendly.
The vibe and the music are decidedly low-key, but the staff members are so engaging that you just fall right into the relaxed atmosphere.
Come visit. Be surprised, relax, and enjoy.

Hands-down one of the best Mexican restaurants I have ever had. Even the rice and refried beans were seasoned--not salted to the hilt, but seasoned and delicious. I'm kicking myself for living on the East side for so long and not trying this place sooner. And the portions are generous with leftovers enough for 1-2 additional meals, even after overeating!
One of my go-to Mexican food spots. Good food and decent prices.
It's a great value for the amount of food you get. The food is very good flavorful and well-seasoned. Not bland but not too salty it's just right.
I've been wanting to stop by and check this place out since I moved to Charlotte and they did not disappoint! It is a smaller space, so seating is limited BUT any wait would be worth it.
The food is AMAZING, large plates and very reasonably priced. Service was great and food came out fast! I had the chicken chimichanga but there are a LOT of other things on their menu that I want to try.
I will be coming back here for sure!
