Delicious pizza and cool environment! The wooden grill is in the middle of the restaurant so you can watch your pizza be made and baked. Their homemade ranch is a must try for the pizza and keeps me coming back. Also they make the best Caesar salad I’ve ever had!

We started out with complimentary wine. Dinner consisted of a delicious creamy fettuccine with chicken and broccoli and for dessert we had a very smooth Tiramasu. Our server was gracious and between the server and the food we had an excellent evening! Will return!

Had the Egg and potato pizza. Wow was very good.... also had the garlic and clam pizza as well as the cheese triangles... The cracker crust is perfect!!! Great service to new customers!!! I'm ready to try more!!

Amazing food and service. The turkey sandwich was phenomenal! The only thing that I would change would be having kettle cooked chips instead:)

On 6/24/2022 - Unique take on the grilled pepper and onion pesto pizza and salad. The Pesto pizza was a little uncooked but had a lot of flavor and color. The Margarita pizza was perfect! Staff provided good prompt customer service. We will visit the restaurant again.

The hubs and I was gifted with a gift card to this amazing place. We stopped at the front and ordered our food: 2 11” pizzas, side salad, and 2 drinks which equaled around $43. Our food was delivered to our table after it was cooked and the cashier/waitress refilled our drinks. The atmosphere was great and the staff were amazing. While the food was definitely great, it was a little out of my price range for pizza so it won’t be added to our “normal” eating places.

Pizza was really good and service was fast on a week day around 7:30pm. Pizzas are personal size and they have a “pick 2” option for lunch.

Awesome spot. The perfect to get your pizza fix. Staff was extremely friendly. There was a minor error with our order and they gave us a whole other pie. More food than we needed, but very kind gesture. Thanks. If we're in the area again, we will be back.

This is one of my favorite places to go when I’m in the mood for a better pizza. The sausage and peppers pizza is fresh, cheesy and delicious. Their gluten free crust is good but it can sometimes be over cooked or undercooked. Their regular crust is pretty consistently good according to my husband.

Been coming here for a couple of years now and I'm just getting around to reviewing.. The pizza... hands down one of the best in the area; the name is correct. True crafted artisan pizza. It doesn't stop there though it's the little things like the level of service that I always receive and that I see others receive. Never a bad meal never a bad instance. Always friendly, And never too long Of a wait. Look at my pizza and salad!

I tried the margherita and one of the grilled pizzas with pesto. The margherita was neopolitan style and i the tomato sauce was standout to me! The grilled pizzas was good and the dough had a nice char flavor, but was much chewier than I expected.

This place was great...friendly staff, very clean inside, pies were amazing. We did Hot oil pizza and a sausage & peppers pie..both were great Hot oil pie was very spicy..but very flavorful...Craft beer was cold and very good.

The four cheese pizza is GOOD. The gentlemen Lamont (Hope I spelled it correctly) is awesome! Knows the menu very well. He was able to take orders and take care of the tables! The service alone was outstanding.

I originally ordered sausage and peppers, but I received pepperoni and peppers. The manager let me keep the pepperoni pie and needless to say I enjoyed that more than the one I originally wanted. Delicious pizza. My go to spot when I'm in the area. The service was chick-fil-aish. From the cashier to the manager and down to the line cook. I'm coming back for sure!

A unique style of pizza with distinct flavor blends. They offer both oven baked and grilled pizza, both of which are delicious. We had the 4 cheese white baked and the sausage and pepper baked pizzas, as well as the prosciutto and arugula baked pizza. I had seen photos on their website of the baked pizzas so I knew what to expect as a portion. For around $12.00 it is enough for 1 person, probably smaller than the average medium from a chain pizza delivery joint, but bigger than what i have gotten at other "artisan" pizza restaurants. Both flavors of pizza were great. But the grilled prosciutto and arugula pizza drizzled with a thick balsamic was absolutely amazing. And it was very large. Granted it is thin, and perfectly crispy, but we were pleasantly surprised at the size. We also had the calamari appetizer and a couple of side salads. We saw a few large salads pass by and wondered how strong the wait staff must be to carry it themselves. It was a family sized portion. The calamari was a good portion for the price and it was good, with lemon half, 2 sauces and fried jalapenos with it. Another pleasant surprise. They also have a pretty good beer selection on tap and in bottles. Location is a walk from the movie theater and the grocery store is a 2 minute walk from TRUE pizza so you can stock up on cheap candy for a after dinner movie. We went on a Friday evening and had no issue finding seats at TRUE for our party of 6. Seating is first come first serve, with some outdoor seating as well. All told our 3 pizzas 2 salads, and 1 appetizer was enough for the 6 of us. That was last night and I am already craving the grilled pizza again! I highly recommend this place, especially for a quick meal before a movie.

My daughter and I came here for the first time because our normal pizza place was closed, and I'm so glad we did. We were on our way to our first daddy daughter dance and the staff was so kind and made my 6 year old feel very special. The manager, Jordan did a great job orchestrating the dinning room to accommodate the dinner rush. My daughter gave very high praise to the cheese pizza and I loved the mushroom and onion pizza. We've found our new pizza place!

Casual pizza place (though they definitely have more than pizza) and the food was really good. Friend got garlic and clam pizza, which was fantastic. I got chicken Parm sub and that was really satisfying as well. The bread was great on that. Will definitely eat here again and love the style of eatery it was!

If your a kid it's a great place to hang. I ordered a copper(local beer) and the glass was cool but the beer was flat. The chicken parm was good but the bread was burned in places. No raves. Tables were wiped but sticky!! Barely three stars

The best pizza and fast and good service.Its not far from my house and you can find parking easily.Salads are good. Their prices are not too high and anyone can afford them.I will say There is no other place like True Crafted Pizza.

Wonderful service & delicious � pizza. Definitely my place to get a wkly pizza. I'm new in the area & I knew when I left this is the environment I would choose to spend my money & the pizza is excellent.

The staff is always great with their service. I can always rely on the beer selection to be what I like and my daughter loved the pizza.

Everything written is so true. The pizza is excellent. Love they can do a 50 50 pizza, even w specialties. We also had calamari and it was very tasty. Clean and great service. Earned it's name on top 12 pizza places for sure.

TRUE catered our wedding and from the first phone call to Rose the customer support and care we received until our wedding was over that night was incredible. The catering truck is the best. Rose and her team came prepared to our wedding and was on time and had the pizza buffet line moving and the pizzas kept coming out of the oven fresh. Our people that attended the wedding had nothing negative to say about any of the food. Rose and her team was the best and made our wedding day and the catering enjoyable. I highly recommend TRUE for your catering needs.

As always the food was incredible and the service friendly. Both pizzas came out piping hot with crispy crusts!!! best salad dressing-even the picky teen loves it.

Thanks to Ken and Peter for the great food last night for the awesome bottleshare and for being great hosts, the pizza was amazing and so was all the food they prepared for us that wasn't on the menu, especially the jalapeño poppers and the baked chicken thighs w/roasted potatoes and carrots. A bunch of us had decided to try the place out, since we were in the area and pizza sounded good. Each of us ordered a different pizza, one of which included a truly gorgeous Proscuitto di Parma. All of them were delicious! TRUE gave us a memorable experience and let me enjoy the best pizza(s) I've had in years.

Tried two different types of pizza.... Both were excellent! Beer is good, people are super nice, and the pizza is awesome!

TRUE recently catered our wedding in November 2017. The team at TRUE is above and beyond what most people would assume is “food truck food”. Big Red isn’t just a food truck- this baby is a full service catering vehicle. With Chef Brendan at the helm, they dazzled our guests with items like lump crab cakes, butternut squash soup with maple cream, pork crostini, and of course- artisan pizzas to satisfy every craving. When I speak to my guests, the very first thing they mention is how wonderful the food was. Rose is a delight to coordinate with, always prompt, courteous and professional in her correspondence and made sure we had every detail pinned down before our big day. She also made sure that my new husband and I had a full plate of hot food from the second we sat down (I think we would have forgotten to eat, otherwise!) She even made sure that my absolute favorite pizza was made fresh and hand delivered to our sweetheart table. Swoon!!! The TRUE team, including the bartender and servers, kept the food and drinks flowing throughout the night and our guests couldn’t have been more pleased. As a bride, my top four priorities for my vendors were Price, Quality of Service, Responsiveness, and Consistency with our Vision: Price: 5*, Quality of Service: 5*, Responsiveness: 5*, Vision: 5*, Overall: 5*

I had a wonderful lunch at True and would certainly return next time I am in the area. There was a great vibe to the place and the staff was very friendly. There were many great options on the menu. I settled on the baby spinach/arugula salad and it was wonderful. I contained apples, cranberries, and goat cheese. I also had the margarita pizza and it was fabulous too. I think it's hard to find great pizza and I really enjoyed this lunch. I recommend True for a great meal.

True pizza is awesome. I eat out most meals and never have I come across a more accommodating place to eat. There was a month or two that every time I went in there I ordered the pizza of the day from the month before and even though it wasn't on the menu they made it for me. I'm a NYer (and very snobby about the pizza I eat) and true is in a league of its own. Grilled pizza is probably the best thing I've ever had! Pizzerias in NY don't grill pizzas they slap them in a pizza oven. <br/>The salads are delicious and fresh. The ricotta honey combo on the flat bread is out of this world. After I first tried it I couldn't believe I wasn't eating ricotta with honey all this time. <br/>Try it, you'll love it. If you don't there must be something wrong with you :)

Fabulous Place. I have been to TRUE a few times in the past. It has a very warm and inviting environment and have never been dissatisfied with the food. Highly recommend.

This place is great. Go to the bar. Order beers. I pick noda. Review menu. Get hot oil pizza and the spinach salad to go. Spend minimal time with other peoples jitterbugs (kids). Leave. This is fantastic time at true.

The selection is definitely not your average pizza shop! They have a lot of unique combinations all made from fresh ingredients! The portions are large, especially the salads! The homemade ranch was so delicious. I also love the local beer on tap.

YAY! These guys hit it out of the park! The pizza is fabulous, salads are delish and the space has been beautifully transformed. The bar area is killer....never seen anything so nice in a pizzeria.

I really like this place. Definitely a step up from the places that used to be here. The pepperoni is really good. Not a fan of the white pizza because of the texture of the cheese. The margherita pizza was very soggy so I would avoid that. Go for the pepperoni! Also the staff is really nice and accommodating.

Grilled pizza dough was so tough I could not bite off a piece. Hard to even chew. Salad with grilled vegetables had huge pieces of mushroom, squash, etc. not what I thought I was getting. Will not be going back.

Horrible pizza. Tasted like soap! Got new pizza...tomato sauce tasted like Campbell's tomato soup...really guys??<br/>Just go away.

Great place. I dined here this past weekend with my family and had an amazing experience. From the local crafted beers to the gelato, not to mention the Grilled BLT pie with Ranch, what an amazing place. So glad to see such a high quality pizza shop go into Stonecrest.

TRUE Crafted Pizza was delicious, filling, and inexpensive -my favorite combo! Although I definitely need to try a few more of their pies, based on our sample of the menu, I believe that TRUE Crafted Pizza is up there with Wolfgang Puck Pizza Bar on my list of favorite Charlotte pizza joints. For pizza, TRUE Crafted Pizza gets a 9/10.

True Crafted Pizza just opened in South Charlotte and it didn’t take us long to fall in love with them. As the story goes… In the summer of 2012, three families got together...

Two of my favorites are the broccoli rabe and sausage, served with a bit of red pepper flakes for heat, and the garlic and clam pizza with pancetta, a delightfully salty concoction that was inspired by the legendary Pepe’s in New Haven.

At True you order at the counter and the food is brought to you in fast casual style. We went with the oven baked Margherita and Pepperoni Pizzas. Both were tasty and made it to our table in under 10 minutes so you can certainly get in and out of there for your lunch hour. Our time at True was short and I plan on bringing the family back to try the Crispy Mozzarella Wedges and Grilled Pizzas in the very near future.
