Literally the best meal I have ever had, We ordered the chef selection and paired drink combo and the meal far exceeded all expectations, making Rocksalt one of Charlotte's best kept secrets.
Delicious! Everyone was so nice! I always had something to drink, food was unbelievable. We devoured everything we ordered. Dessert was perfect. The staff in the kitchen and on the floor were very organized and worked well together. We sat close to the kitchen area and everything that was ready on the counter did not sit there, it was sent out immediately to its table. Well done Rocksalt and staff. I highly recommend!
Quinn was THE BEST! We loved her recommendations and she provided a level of customer service you just don’t see nowadays. 25/10 would recommend!
The Cajun grilled oyesters, seafood pasta, octopus and gnocchi, scallops and Mac and cheese were really good. Also the wicked apple Rita was BOMB.
You can probably pass on the cheddar biscuits but we did appreciate the chef making them for us before he left for the night.

Rocksalt is located in the back of Park Road Shopping Centet. It’s primarily focused on seafood and offers other non-seafood options and daily specials as well.
We had a party of 3 and sat outside in the beautiful weather. The food was good. We started with fresh oysters for the table and oyster chowder. The oysters were fresh with cocktail and mignonette sauces. We also split the Burrata salad and potato hash for the table. The Burrata salad was fresh and the best app we ordered.
The top entree was the NC Trout with Gnocchi. Unfortunately they were out of the daily fish special which was a whole tilefish. Perhaps next time we’ll be earlier.
Service is good and parking is easy. The shaded outdoor area is the biggest option for seating. The indoor area seems smaller.

The oysters were good, but everything else seemed to be missing salt, ironically.
We could have done without the loud motoring and exhaust fumes from the parking lot next to the patio, but that is what it is.
Our waitress was polite and friendly. The food came out hot and fresh. The bread is freshly made and taste incredible. The tuna tartar was excellent. The trout with the gnosh tasted very good. The shrimp and pasta was superb. I definitely recommend eating here
We had an awesome date night here. Food was excellent. Drinks were excellent. Ambiance was cozy and relaxed. Good music. Butcher Lee, our server, was extremely personable and made great recommendations. We will be back for sure!
The oysters were extremely fresh. I would have like to have gone during happy hour because the regular price can get a little much but it is manageable. The fish dip was tasty and a generous portion. I was a little disappointed that I asked for the price on the scotch I was drinking beforehand and then charged differently when the bill came in. It puts you in the awkward position to dispute the bill so I just paid it but it was unfortunate. Outside of that the service was good. Decent beers on tap. The hamburger was really good and the wedge fries were phenomenal. Overall ambiance was nice. Good place for a date or group outing. All the food was good with the potatoes wedges and oysters taking top spot. The wedges were cooked and seasoned to perfection. The oysters were the best I have had in a while.
Had a phenomenal time thanks to the amazing staff and food. Cheff Nikki and her crew worked wonders in spite of being short staffed. We were served outstanding food and received spectacular service and hospitality. This is a must if you're looking for good seafood, great oysters, and slamming drinks. Can't wait to return for more
Absolutely amazing from service to food! The oysters were soft juicy and delicious, the ceviche was excellent with a guacamole sauce with a slight kick and to the main course the grilled Red Snapper was devine! Drinks were mixed with fresh fruit and great! Will be back!
Cute restaurant with nice ambiance. The staff was friendly and attentive without being overbearing. I loved the furniture and the openness of the restaurant and would like to visit the outside seating on a cooler night. Only downside is that I still had to wait 20 minutes for a table even though I had reservations, not a deal breaker. Would definitely go back.
