We happened upon this little place on our way to visit friends in Huntersville. Absolutely the best! From the minute you walk in the door and are greeted by Tabitha, to the sweet wait staff and the delicious food! This place gets 5 stars! Not to mention, Guy Fieri did a segment on it in 2009. Great place! Great food! Great service!

My husband and I went here for the first time today and it was amazing. The staff were beyond friendly, the atmosphere was nice, and the food was good. This will more than likely become our go-to local place. Highly recommend. The seafood platter and venison quesadillas were great!

The lunch date with my mother is law and daughter. It turned out so great. We loved it so much!!! Can't wait to come back. A good place to come to if you aren't in a rush.
Jake’s Good Eats is the reminder of why we need local owned restaurants. From the appetizers to the desserts, you can taste how fresh and homemade each dish is. As much as I want to let the whole world know of this place I also want to keep this spot for myself and my family. Can’t wait to be back.
Jakes Good Eats was recommended from a client. First time for me. I placed two orders over the phone for take out. Ordered a Po-Boy shrimp hoagie and a BLT with sides of fries and pasta salad. Time was perfect as when I arrived it was just getting bagged up. The host and cashier there were friendly. I actually forgot about taking some pictures of the lunch that we purchased, was really hungry!! Upon opening the containers over filling with food, definitely worth it!! Very generous proportions. Did not expect the amount of food. So fresh and tasty!! I also been told that all the deserts are homemade and are huge portions! I would definitely be returning.
We have been wanting to try this restaurant but decided to relax at home with food delivery from Ubereats. Everything about our experience was awesome. The ordering process, delivery and of course the food was amazing. We got an appetizer of plantains, small salad and shrimp and grits. The portions were more than enough for my husband and I. Loved the uniqueness of the plantains with shrimp and mango. The shrimp and grits were amazing. Also, loved that they didn't give us plastic utensils and the food containers are reusable, not Styrofoam. We would love to come to the cool decorated restaurant soon.
A unique local gem. This former gas station turned restaurant still sports a service station of yesteryear theme, with a surprisingly varied menu. From seared scallops to fried bologna sandwiches, shrimp po’ boy to NY strip steak, this eclectic menu should provide for all tastes.
This was our first time and we will definitely be back! Great service and the food was really good. Cozy inside with vintage and antique decor. Desserts were phenomenal!! Key Lime pie and Beignets in perfect shareable size. You can see in the pictures they were also a hit with my mini-me.
It was my first time ever coming to this place everything was delicious made to order. Love the fried green tomatoes and the firecracker shrimp was the bomb. Jennifer was our waitress she's very knowledgeable about the menu because she said she loves the food there. I wanted to see the chef but he was busy I just wanted to see who puts out such delicious food I wanted to see the face of such a person. I told Jennifer I guess he's like Bigfoot some see him some don't but they exist 🤣
Small but quaint. From the road it just looked like one of those places you have to just try because of the reviews and not the looks. We ordered an appetizer of fried zucchini which was amazing. I had sweet tea which was spot on and very important to me. Then we started seeing the food come out. I was second guessing myself because the prices were high but once we started seeing the dishes I immediately regretted what I had ordered to play it safe, which was the pulled park sandwich(still amazing) but would have absolutely gotten the 27$ steak instead. Portions were almost bigger then the plates. The waitress we had was new but amazing. We are going back to try everything on the menu, no doubts about it.
Deliciously different.
They have your typical American sandwiches but they have other choices you won't normally find in this area. One of my favorites for something different is the venison quesadilla with pepper jelly.
Staff is friendly, helpful and check on you. It is a small place, usually busy but normally get a table fairly quickly.
