I went to Sunflour for brunch today with my son. We ordered a raspberry danish, a banana chocolate chip muffin, an egg sandwich and an avocado melt. Everything was sooooo delicious!! I had planned to save the avocado melt for a late lunch but after devouring the raspberry danish I just HAD to try the sandwich. I ate half the sandwich, stared at the 2nd half for a moment, then gave in and ate it ALL. I went in hungry and left STUFFED! My son ate every bite of his meal as well. While we were there I was impressed by how hard working the staff was. They greeted everyone with a smile (even customers who took too long to order which is totally understandable with so many options to choose from!) and made sure the tables were wiped down and the seating area was clean. The restrooms in the back were also clean and well stocked. Mostly I enjoyed watching so many couples and families sit down and relax in this little gem of a restaurant. I overheard one lady tell her husband they only had 5 minutes before they had to leave but they still enjoyed the break from the normal chaos of life to sit down, sip their coffee and enjoy their pastry. We will definitely be back to do the same.

The portions are a very VERY generous. The place wasn't as clean as i would prefer an eating establishment to be but the food truly is extraordinarily good. The croissants are enormous, the orange poppy seed was really good but the vanilla one takes the cake.

The breads and pastries that Sunflour Baking Company on 7th Street offered impressed me when I went there for breakfast. Both the cappuccino and the croissant sandwich with ham and cheese that I ordered were excellent. The cappuccino was smooth and creamy, and the croissant was flaky and delicious. The location was tidy and comfortable, and the staff was kind and helpful. The fact that they were out of several products when I arrived and I really wanted to taste their cinnamon rolls is the only reason I didn't give them a perfect score of five stars. Possibly next time. This bakery is a must-try for anyone seeking a filling and healthy breakfast, in my opinion.

I’ve always loved this location, it was where I first met my best friend, and is my go-to community bakery/coffee shop. Every time I go I’m greeted with a smile and a delicious case of pastries. This past visit exceeded all others though, and Maya made my day! They were so incredibly accommodating. Definitely try Sunflour out if you’re looking for a friendly atmosphere and a fresh pastry or delicious cup of coffee!

Always a pleasure to eat here. The delicious aroma of fresh baked goodness that permeates from the moment you open the door is always inviting. The array of baked goods, sandwiches, desserts and coffee are outstanding and always tasty. It has a comfortable and laid back vibe you can sit and enjoy your treats. Sunflour puts Starbucks to shame. Certified Charlotte awesome eats.

Went to Sunflour Baking Company in Charlotte NC around 9:45 AM on a Sunday. I was going to call in my order on DoorDash, but decided to go. They told me there was a delay on the sandwiches, about 20 minutes, but I was fine with that. I ended up waiting 55 minutes. The woman was extremely apologetic and gave me a five dollar coupon. My sandwich was amazing. It was a egg, avocado, ham, and cheese on a cheddar biscuit. I will definitely order again, but would call ahead. I also had the cinnamon roll and it was pretty good.

Because of them, my daughter had her first real birthday cake at her 8th birthday party. She has a lot of allergies, and they were accommodating with the restrictions. She had cake with any reactions to it. And it was beautiful, bigger than we expected and delicious....

I come here early in the a.m. sometimes after working 3rd shift. Usually right after they open, as i get off at 7am. Staff is just friendly enough for such an early hour and polite. They seem to get along with each other and have fun, but they still prioritize the customer and greet you and smile when you walk in.
Pastries here are always good except SOMETIMES the classic croissant seems well-done for my taste. Vanilla sugar roll is delicious every time.
I like to order a soy latte, sometimes plain and sometimes with mocha or caramel added. Espresso flavor is always smooth and the milk and foam are always just right.
I'm usually in and out, and if it might take a while they warn me and apologize for the wait.
I wish i lived closer!

The #6 sandwich - egg sausage and tomato pesto was really good (I removed the arugula). Lots of flavor and the cheddar biscuit was really yummy, but a lot of bread. One star less because it took a while to prepare.

Serving bad avocados is not okay. I own a food business myself and I understand the difficulties with avocados, but this is the second time this happens.
I’ve probably ordered the same sandwich about 6 times. 2 out of the 6 this has happened, hence the not bad rating, but one time it happened with friends I had hyped up about your business.
I can’t share your business with other people because the quality is not consistent. Something in your operations needs a closer look.
All that being said, I really hope it gets better since I love your #3 on cheddar biscuit.
