My lovely wife Liz and I eat at the Big View Diner at least once a week, and I must remark that the food is exceptional. I order the breakfast steak with poached eggs quite often as my diet (keto) requires it. My breakfast steaks are done to perfection nearly every time and even more difficult the poached eggs tend to be perfectly cooked as well. I think this is significant as this is not a steak house and everywhere else in town I have to order my eggs scrambled as Big View’s competition cannot figure out how to poach an egg correctly. For dinner and lunch I suggest the chopped steak. I am certain that they are putting crack in the gravy as it is beyond delicious and I crave it. The servers are well trained, likable and seldom does my drink glass empty. Marcus and Kristen are my personal favorites and I have never had bad service from any of the others even when the place is filled to capacity on a Sunday morning. The Hostess is organized and expedient; Rachel remembers faces and names very well and works the fine line of seating people as fast as she can and letting some seats empty to give the kitchen a break. Holly (one of the managers) is polite, kind, and demands the best from her staff. Frank (one of the owners) is almost always expediting and takes great care that every order is perfect.
