Review Pearlz Oyster Bar - Charlotte

( updated with another Excellent review ) Excellent ! Tried a few thing ! Alex waited on us at the bar and she was the Best . Also have to mention Owen who shucked the delicious oysters 🦪 ! Both so friendly and went above and beyond to make our dining date the best ! We had oysters ( both fried and raw , fish , coleslaw ( soooo good ) and the wedge salad that the blue cheese dressing was … DELICIOUS! Definitely will return !…went back .. great to see Owen again . Shannon waited on us with excellent service .. got the oysters again and still delicious !! Tonight tried the OH SO GREAT blackened scallops that came with a jambalaya like rice and also tried the taco .. EXCELLENT !! Added pictures !

Great neighborhood place to visit! Jake was my bartender who was very knowledgeable and kind! Food was good wish the menu was bigger, been here 4 times already and never disappointed. Everyone is friendly and welcoming a great place to enjoy with friends and family.

My first visit. All staff were professional, yet friendly. The food was very good. Loved the atmosphere. I'll definitely return.

A little bit disappointed since my shrimp and grits came to the table ice cold. It was a slightly above average experience. However, they did redo my order. The Fish and Chips was fantastic. Our waitress was helpful with suggestions but some of the other staff were more into conversation with each other than the clients. As for hospitality, I would say they need work. Food was fantastic with appropriate amounts.

Very quiet and beautiful vibes. It has various seafood options, and the drink menu is the die for. Very fresh and cook to perfection. Light and airy batter that coat the shrimp. The half shells were also a great choice. Open in house and served well.

First impressions - it is much more casual than we thought, which was ok! Next time we won’t sit at home wondering what to wear. It’s the kind of place where you can dress up as much as you want for your special night, or take it down to casual and be totally comfortable and not out of place. Our server was wonderful. He was attentive and really friendly. I saw a mocktail on the menu that sounded amazing, but I was looking for a drink like a martini. I asked our server and he immediately asked the bartender if it was possible to turn that mocktail into an alcoholic drink. She said no problem! And it was delicious! We ordered a dozen raw oysters. The size and taste were great! I read some reviews where the oysters were small, but we didn’t experience that at all. These were very meaty and very delicious! Also ordered two steamed to try. Everything was delivered quickly, freshly opened and tasty! Next we ordered the egg rolls. Amazing! Great portion size, crispy and so full of flavor! Loved the dipping sauce too! Lastly, we ordered one of each taco. This is the only reason for 4 stars. The tacos were tasty but nothing amazing. The mahi mahi had a very small piece that didn’t even fill the whole taco shell. It was also a little dry. The shrimp was ok, but I would rather have had grilled shrimp. Maybe that is an option. I didn’t ask. The tuna was not cooked to my liking and dry. But some may have liked it cooked that “well done”. The toppings on each taco were delicious. We loved how each were different. In summary - we loved it and will definitely be back!

Fresh seafood, great vibes, and excellent service! My partner ordered the Shrimp Platter (fried), I ordered Oysters (appetizer), and Shrimp and Grit. Everything was delicious and fresh. Thanks, Garrett, for your outstanding service! We will be back.

Great place and service. Fabulous and delicious food. The Fritters were crispy on the outside. Each bite was delicious. Calamari was fried to a crispy perfection, and the Oysters were amazing.

Spectacular experience. I was always referred to try it out being a seafood lover and after a year (wish it didn’t take me that long) I finally did. The service was great and the food was delectable. Oysters were fresh and they had a good mix to choose from from various parts of the world. Server was most attentive and the cooks made a happy error for us, but they were most accommodating in that regard. We’ll definitely be back, very nice and laid back environment.

I had a bowl of their delicious Clam Chowder. Then, I followed up with a couple of dozen house oysters on the half shell. Everything was pretty reasonably priced. Our waiter was on top of it all. I recommend this establishment to anyone looking for a great seafood dinner.

Tried this place for the first time over the weekend and the food was amazing! The chowder, oysters and tacos were all delicious. Great service at the bar. I definitely recommend this place to anyone who loves seafood!

Pearlz is the kittens mittens. Best oyters around hands down. The service is top notch too. The beau soleils are to die for! Highly recommend if you're in Stonecrest to stop in and slurp down a few!

The food was outstanding. I had clam chowder and the fish and chips. One of the best I've ever had. The rest of the food at the table was just as wonderful. The calamari wasn't bad but I have had better at other places in Charlotte. Also they could do better with their house oysters. Aside from those two things our waiter was good and we were seated quickly for a Saturday late afternoon.

Great food, great service, great portion sizes! Get the crab dip, calamari, gumbo, and fried oysters! You can thank me later. 😉

Customer service was outstanding from the hostess, server and shift manager. They all were so attentive and our server was very knowledgeable of the menu. My food was amazing and the Italian mascoto was perfect. The atmosphere was really nice and relaxing after a long day at work. This was my first visiting Pearlz but definitely won't be my last. I really wish I could remember my the server and hostess name but I can't 😐 but thank you for an awesome experience last night.

This place is great if you enjoy seafood. The food is great, and an excellent atmosphere. It is upscale but casual. My wife and I love going here on the rare date night we get. The staff is always friendly and always efficient. I can't say enough about how relaxed we feel going here and grabbing food and drinks at the bar.

Found out about this place on line. Made a special trip to the restaurant when in town. Ate two dozen exceptionally fresh and good tasting raw oysters with two beers. It was all good and great service. I would go back in a heartbeat

I was in town for business for two nights, and found this location on my first evening. I'm from Maryland and am REALLY picky about seafood. I ate at the bar the first night and Quinn waited on me. The service AND food were so incredible, that I had to come back the next evening. On night two, I had a totally different meal, and Megan waited on me at the bar. The service and food were equally as terrific as the first night. I will miss this establishment, and it will be my first stop the next time I land in Charlotte. Oh, and the happy hour specials we're great!

Scallops and Shrimp on the Charlotte Restaurant Week menu, were simply amazing. It’s not on the normal menu, but should be. Our oyster appetizer was also delicious. The grits were so yummy, we had to order a side for my 8 year old. Great service. We will be back.

Fantastic food and drinks! The only problem was my stomach wasn't big enough for all the delicious food on the menu! Reasonable prices as well.

Food was very good. Service was awful. Our food - a 6 top - came out 1 or 2 at a time over 15 mins. And it was not busy at all. It was a Monday night. The raw oysters came out very last. We asked for salt and pepper, and it was AT LEAST 10 mins before it we got it, with an apology.

Excellent food and great atmosphere.. We would strongly recommend eating here.

We try to come here as often as possible! Love the $10 a dozen oyster Mondays. Megan and Travis do a super job of taking care of us. All of the seafood is fresh and prepared perfectly. Can’t waitfor our next visit!

Always a great place for cocktails and oysters I just wish the restaurant had a little bit more seating.
