Friendliest staff, great local IPA, Higher Ground. Ordered the Shrimp and Grits and the Pressed Philly Cheese Steak. BEST Shrimp and Grits I've ever had. Cheesesteak flavorful, much better pressed than in a regular hoagie and they don't skimp on the meat!The side of potato wedges we delicious. Don't miss this place!

One of my new favorite spots to eat when I'm in Charlotte. Love the laid back vibe of the staff! the food was words can't even describe delicious!! Danette our waitress, server, fabulous food presenter was amazing👏 !! I will definitely be making this a regular spot to check out don't forget tacos Tuesdays!!

The minute you see this establishment your curious about what's inside, the scenery is mesmerizing and the food is even better. I was introduced to this place by a friend of mine who lives in North Carolina and boy am I glad she did, after taking the Selfies outside we proceeded to go inside and the atmosphere was fantastic very different but enjoyable an ordered a seafood medley inside half a pineapple and boy was it packed with flavor it was so delicious and flavorful. The staff was great very professional and attentive and we had a wonderful time if you're in the area I recommend you go and don't forget they have a taco Tuesday.... Enjoy

Happiness in every bite! Fresh seafood with powerful punches of flavor! The seemingly odd pairings are spot on, so eat everything on your plate! Each sauce is amazing!! This place is excellent! We came for brunch today and loved everything! I had the special (Strawberry&Banana cream stuffed French toast with bacon and 2 eggs), and my bf had the Fried Chicken Fajitas! The owner and staff were super friendly and attentive...will definitely be back to try dinner! Hidden gem in Plaza :)

Colby with the blue buzz cut mowhawk was my server. He treated me well. I enjoyed the Szechuan Salt and Pepper wings. Seasoned with a rub. Tasty and not spicy. No matter what you order,make sure you get the Gumbo. It's got good spice. There's plenty of parking in the lot at the entrance. No need to park on the side street. There is also a bike rack. They have in door and out door seating. Menu is big. Went on a Sunday around 8p. Not busy. 80s music playing in background. Would return in the future.

We came here expecting a regular fish place, its anything but that! Everything about this place is unique and awesome. From the setup, decorations, and the food. I ordered the Po' Boy with fish & coleslaw, my wife got the Po' Boy with shrimp & squash casserole, & my son got the fish bites with mac & cheese. Food was delicious & filling! The price wasn't bad for the generous portions you get. The staff is very nice and informative too. Our server, Colby, did an outstanding job last night. We will be back for sure. Please give this place a try!
