Was there Tuesday July 3rd with some family and friends. Amazing open concept bar atmosphere with indoor/outdoor gathering areas! Beautiful space with a great location! Very attentive and friendly staff. Was very busy but we were able to find a couch to sit on to have a drink. Came back the next afternoon to grab beer to go from their cold section. Gift shop area was very nice and I will for sure be back!
I have seen the face of God, and it is Brewers at 4001 Yancey. The beer is exactly what you'd expect from two juggernauts at the top of their games, but the food is equally great. The space is enormous and comfortable. And spirits are on the way?? How can this place get better??
Very nice building and a lot of room inside. Parking is a little low, however there's a parking lot towards the back of the building and there were some spots.
I was torn between 4&5 star. However for those like my wife with Allergies (Dairy & Gluten). It's hard to give five stars for the errors in the kitchen.
Came in during a football game and I'm all for it being on the TV's... However they had the audio just absolutely cranked-making it hard to talk.
A very nice selection of beers for all different types of people. The food was good/ok. My sandwich was good, again nothing to special. My wife's salad came out with cheese on it the first time (allergic to dairy)... Then came out the second time without the chicken. Our friends also had errors on their food.
Our waitress was awesome and apologized for all of it- as we know it wasn't her fault.
Overall a good experience and the staff were all very friendly and nice!
We literally come here every Tuesday for the 1/2 prices apps and trivia!! Mo has been our waiter so many times we started asking for him, he always remembers my drink order. They have great beers, food, and wait staff. Plus dog friendly!! Definitely recommend
Very spacious establishment inside and outside. Family friendly, service was excellent, fish and chips, classic cheeseburger was awesome, and let me tell you about the drinks. I would highly recommend.
Great open atmosphere, great music, comfortable seating, fresh food and drinks. A friend ordered the fried cauliflower and it was totally not what I was expecting, and that's a great thing. Juicy, tender cauliflower with some sort of Italian dressing and butter marinate. Wow. That was good. Unfortunately I have no picture of that. I ordered the buttermilk fried chicken sandwich with fries, and my fiance ordered a cheeseburger with fries. Great presentation, juicy, well cooked chicken without being overdone or messy with grease, and the same for the burger. The fries weren't overly salted either; I've run into a lot of that lately where the chef doesn’t seem to have taste buds. Price range was around $13 for each of those orders. I would definitely eat here again.
I’ve been to Brewers twice now to speak for events hosted in their back room. It’s been a perfect spot to be while out of town! It’s got an incredible event setup, easy tech connection for me as a speaker, and the entire staff is warm, friendly, and fun. I had a few hours before my train headed home and also really enjoyed sitting at the bar and grabbing an early dinner and catching up on emails on my laptop. Got a salmon Caesar and fried cauliflower and both were delicious. Everyone couldn’t have been nicer or more helpful! Would love to come back next time I’m visiting Charlotte 😊
Simply our favorite place!! We enjoy anytime! The beer 🍻 and food are delicious!! We don’t care the weather haha Winter Summer Spring or Fall!! Definitely the best server are John and Zoe and I want to highlight the attitude of the Manager, saying that she is spectacular, she works equally as well as the ones served and takes care of all the details
Came in for their Christmas in July event and had Chelsea as our server. absolutely amazing service!!!. Very attentive to our tables orders/requests. Very knowledgeable on her beers and overall menu selection. can’t wait for the next visit and will definitely be asking for Chelsea again!
I’ve had pretty good experiences at 4001 Yancey in Charlotte both times that I’ve visited. It helps that they’re a collection of beers and ciders from different breweries and that also they brew their own beer.
I’m a fan of their Hazy Daze IPA—it’s quite smooth and hazy, I highly recommend it. They also have an extensive list of vegetarian and non vegetarian appetisers, and they accommodate your request to take the meat off from their non vegetarian appetisers if you’re a vegetarian, which we especially appreciated.
The drinks are reasonably priced. The service has been prompt and polite, and there’s a huge seating area both inside and outside. They’ve a few games too if you’re inclined to play. Their parking lot is just down the road to the right.
We love this place among all the other breweries in the area and highly recommend it if you’re looking for a fun time with good food and drinks.
Loved the atmosphere! The fried pickles were awesome, so was the staff along with management. Unfortunately, I didn't enjoy the smoked wings. The manager was exceptional in explaining the process as to why they were extra crispy & dry, not like a traditional smoked wing or the ones I have experienced. The 3 cheese pizza was lovely with a buttery, garlic flavor.
Overall, I definitely recommend & will return!
Open air warehouse feel. The food was good. Service great. Good for groups. It's just fun to hang out and enjoy great beer.
