Really cool joint just off the beaten path right next to the amphitheater on the south side of uptown. Plenty of places to sit and chill including a huge outdoor patio. Great atmosphere and vibe. Too many cool beers on draft to name. If you don't know what you want, ask to try a sample!
The staff is awesome. Go with a large group or a small one they have tables to accommodate. Food is top notch as well. Try the fried chicken bites and the Bavarian pretzel!
My wife and I took our daughter to a concert at The Fillmore on Friday night and we decided to hang out here while she was at the show. We were able to park right by the building, which made for an easy exit when we left (and they validate when you eat or drink there - AWESOME!!) The food was great

This is a really fun place to hang out! The food is great & I especially love the outdoor seating. It did cost $22 to park there, so just be aware of that if you’ve never been. I guess that’s to be expected when you’re in the city though. I would definitely come here again!

Amazing beer, great food, and even better ambience! If you are looking for a nice beer garden with a ton of different beers on tap, a great open concept indoor and outdoor seating area for intermingling, playing some outdoor games or just enjoying good company, VGBG is worth checking out.

Great place to get good food before seeing a show next door at the Filmore/Underground. They comp your parking too if you use the Texy 2 Pay and then get some food or drinks. Staff is very friendly and the food comes out to the table promptly!
Great beer selection. Plenty of outdoor seating, most under a large tent. Beach volleyball nets. Food is also pretty good. They validate parking for the lot next to the bar and the one across the street.
