overall mid restaurant. we came on a night when they were short staffed so the wait was pretty bad even though we had a reservation. the hostess was also acting as a bar tender and she was able to make us a pitcher of margs while we waited. they also comped our appetizers which was much appreciated!
The owner of the establishment Brian I believe? He was awesome! He did great at explaining the menu and recommended items on both drinks and food. Great break down.

Great atmosphere, service just seems very understaffed. We wanted to love this place, have been a few times but just never clicks for us service wise. I will say the kitchen does some great work, very tasty combinations.
This was my first time visiting Bakersfield, and I must say, I was impressed. I had the Street Tacos in three different flavors. I indulged in the Carnitas, Braised Ribs and Baja Shrimp Tacos topped off with a refreshing Rose'. The atmosphere and service was good, the taste of the food was amazing.

We had a wonderful dinner out the other night at Bakersfield, it was our first visit and we'll definetly be back. Our server, Courtney, made the experience even better. She was so helpful, attentive and made great recommendations! She really helped us enjoy our evening.
