Good atmosphere and the honey chicken and waffles was amazing. Chicken was hot tender, juicy, and the waffle was tasty. Very busy so we waited a while for food after ordering. But will definitely visit again when back in Charlotte!

Great breakfast foods!!! Perfectly cooked eggs/grits and Pancakes. Took a while to get noticed when I sat down, which I didn’t like as they were not very busy at the time. But the food more than made up for it. Prices are a bit high, but it’s a high rent area so I get it.

Great breakfast and service! One of the only places to have a dedicated chicken and waffles section on the menu. Hot chicken and waffle was delicious.
Also they serve espresso based drinks as well as cocktails.

Awesome spot for a quick bite for breakfast! The only thing better than the prices and the quick service is the taste of the food, everything there from the French toast to the cheese grits had a lot of flavor. Will be returning!

I love this place. It's a little pricey for someone on a fixed (retirement) income but good for an occasional visit. I can't describe how much I love their food. I usually get the Florida Sunset plate. I think that's it. Scrambled eggs, sausage, creamy grits, fantastic biscuit, and a waffle covered in banana slices, strawberry slices and blueberries. I'm a big eater and I usually have to get a to go box for part of my meal. I usually take the waffle home to have later on. The staff here are polite and attentive but don't hover. They seem to know if you need something. I recommend eating here anytime you can get the opportunity. Love it, love it, love it.

I went there with a friend for a brunch. Very nice food with good quality and excellent service. I recommend this place. The price is also very reasonable. They have both inside and outside seating.

The Dirty Bird Chicken & Waffles is AMAZING 🤩 but don’t sleep on the Stuffed French Toast breakfast it’s also FIRE! Service was great, greeted with smiles even tho they were slammed. Do yourself a favor and savor the flavors of this place 😊

Best grits ever, excellent service, and all around best place to get breakfast and brunch. Did I mention the grits? Award winning for a reason, but the menu also has some amazing options. Only gripe, the bathroom needed some attention.

The hot honey chicken. Ooooh baby!! Stuffed French toast on point. Creamy grits so good. I don’t even eat grits but tasted them because they came with my son’s meal and anything with “creamy” in the title is for me. Biscuit, of course it was good or they would need a name change.
Our server was the best. Tatted up and earlobes stretched. I loved the ability for staff to be themselves in this place.
They let you swap the waffle for pancake with the chicken. Maybe ask for it on the side though.

The food and service was amazing. Our wait time was reasonable which helps since they don’t take reservations. Our server James was amazing and attentive. I highly recommend!

We waited in line for over half an hour then put in our order as soon as we sat down. We waited an hour and a half to get our food but watched four tables sit down, eat, pay and leave before we got our food. The food was not bad, but not worth the two hour wait. Our waiter was really nice, but I don't think this is a place we will visit again.

Amazing food, super cute atmosphere, really good (and large) latte, and the shrimp scramble was amazing. Try putting honey on the biscuit...yum! This place is worth the wait!! I highly recommend.

I travel to Charlotte for work quite a bit and this spot is on my must hit list every time. Such good food and amazing service. They always have a good crowd but the service is quick.

For a place with the word biscuit in their name the biscuits are not good. Hard enough to play hockey with. Omelette was very bland . Definitely not worth what they charge

Was just in Charlotte and ate here three times. It is very eclectic, kind of Ashevilly. We loved the elderly gentleman with the cute hat from South America taking names at the door. He has charisma galore - not sure if if he was owner, manager, etc. he was quick to keep everyone warm (heaters) and so hospitable (coffee for all). Our waitress was awesome and the food was deee-lish!

First time visiting. The food was fantastic although the service was not. The waitress brought me the wrong food and never came to check on us again until she brought the check. I ate what she brought me and it was great, but the fact that she never checked on us throughout the entire meal was unsatisfactory. In her defense she seemed to be in the restaurant by herself with a lot of tables, maybe she needed more help.

I thought that the Cinnamon Apple pancakes in November were the best pancakes ever until I tried the Cranberry Walnut pancakes this month. Wow! These jewels would be a great regular addition to our full menu....they'd do very nicely on a list with the chocolate chip pancakes and the blueberried ones!

Visiting from Austin... my sister-in-law suggests the Flying Biscuit Cafe for brunch. Best decision ever!! Our wait was friendly, "Johnny on the spot" & we truly enjoyed our family time together. First time visiting FBC... won't be the last!! Their food is delish!! �

Wow!! We are in town from Columbus, Ohio and found this place from random Google search. Looked interesting. The eclectic and fabulous staff was so friendly and efficient and they made you feel so welcome. And the food!! So fresh so good. And very reasonably priced. What cost us less than $30 for two of us would have been well over $40 in Columbus. The ingredients were fresh and cooked exceptionally well. Definitely coming back if I make it to Charlotte again.

The food was amazing and staff were excellent. We were just visiting from MD. However, the grits and biscuits were better than any place in MD. I told my daughter this would be great place to open in MD. Trendy and good a rare combination. I'll definitely come back on our next trip.
