Wan Fu

I love the atmosphere of this place as it is hard to find an authentic Asian atmosphere in the Charlotte area. That being said, this review is for take out. I had the seafood hot & sour soup, which came with one shrimp and one scallop. It is made with a white pepper seasoning and was pretty good albeit I would've liked to have a few more pieces of seafood. I also had the shrimp, chicken and pork fried rice. This was lacking flavor to me. The rice was more like lightly fried and really had no taste. I was disappointed, especially since I have eaten other dishes here and enjoyed them. They need to add some egg, scallions, and other items to really make this dish pop. just my 2 cents. I will be back again though. :-)

We went for a dinner for Thanksgiving, while most of the restaurants were closed. This was our first time visiting! It was incredible! Fantastic service and great environment! Food was ready in about 10min, I would for sure recommend everyone to have a try. We ordered a Westlake duck and pan fired seafood noodles, both of them were flavored and tasty!

My family and I have been dining at this restaurant since I was in elementary school. The food and service is amazing and has consistently been that way since our first visit. Not only that, but the owner, Uncle Eddie, has been a family friend and mentor over the years. In would recommend everybody in the Charlotte, NC area to experience what Wan Fu has to offer.

Clean restaurant with very good, and attentive service. The hot and sour soup was very good- not the best I’ve had, but will not disappoint. The pan fried pork dumplings did not do it for me. The dumpling wrapper had a strange taste that impacted my overall review of the dumpling. I would not order these again. The sweet and sour chicken was good. Overall, definitely worth a visit.

First Google review because this place goes so hard that Yelp alone can’t contain my adoration for this restaurant. Great food, great atmosphere, staff remembers us whenever we go, they’re always nice to us, and will likely be nice to you whenever you go. If you like Chinese food, there’s a large chance you’ll like Wan Fu.

The food was so fresh...I've never had Chinese like it. The food is made with completely different recipes than the Americanized versions of Chinese food that I am used to. We bought lots of extra on Saturday, and on late Thursday night, I am still eating it (just now finishing it up), and it tastes just as good. I had fried rice with extra egg, sweet and sour chicken, crab rangoon, and shrimp fried rice.
