You can never go wrong with Morton's The Steakhouse. Their restaurants are always upscale. This particular Morton's had two floors. The staff was outstanding. Our waiter and waitress have both been in the industry for over 15 years. Very knowledgeable of the entire menu. We took them up in several of their recommendations. Needless to say, they were spot on. All of our meals were prepared perfectly and seasoned just like we requested. Five Stars.

Unpopular opinion: but we enjoyed Morton’s more than Steak 48 which everyone says is “the best in Charlotte”. We had an amazing time celebrating our anniversary here! We were welcomed warmly, and received excellent service throughout our meal. Great place to celebrate an occasion, they took our photo for us which was super sweet and created a custom menu. But most importantly, the food was FANTASTIC!!! I got the wagyu filet and it was the BEST I ever had. He got the aged NY strip which was also great. The dirty martini and wine selection were on point! Anyways, we thoroughly enjoyed everything and we can’t wait to go back again.

We came on a Tuesday night to celebrate my wife's birthday and has a nice touch the restaurant pre-printed the menu with her name and happy birthday. The restaurant was fairly empty being a Tuesday night on a back to school week so I guess most people were preoccupied with other commitments so we got high degree of the service. All aspects of the meal are fantastic and Sunday dessert was huge and delicious we could barely eat a fraction of it. Morton's is worth going out on a special occasion or when you just want to have a great steak and a great environment

A work dinner here in Charlotte. We shared the thick cut bacon and meatballs for appetizers. Then on to filet with a side lobster. Everything was great. My colleague had a wagi steak and I tried it. I will get that next time. The flavor was unbelievable. Great staff and server Sarah.

This place was very beautiful. The ambience gets a 5 star however the food was a tad bit bland. The portions were pretty good but the seasoning was very scarce. The waitress was really attentive and nice as well.

Morton’s is the BEST fine dining steakhouse experience you can get. Took my wife here for Valentine’s Day dinner and it did not disappoint. Had flowers delivered there before we arrived and they had them already at our table waiting on us. The service was second to none. It made for a magical evening for my wife and I.

Visited these place twice over last year. Probably one of the finest place to have dinner in Charlotte city. They have a great selection of wines to choose from and a decent menu with seasonal food. They did have limited options when it comes to vegetarian food. However, on informing the waiter, they suggested a few more dishes outside the menu for vegetarian.
Finally, their bread and cheese is one of the amazing pre meal snack I have ever had.
Truely recommended this place to everyone who visits Charlotte city center.

Morton's is a solid choice for dinner in downtown Charlotte, stopped by after the Panthers game for bar bites and Buffalo Trace. Had the filet sliders, scallops in bacon and crab cakes. The 1st two were good, the "all crab" cakes were amazing. Definitely worth visiting for drinks or dinner.

I showed up with my wife and son after a soccer game, just having a taste for Mortons. They have a dress code but sat use in the bar area. We were good. Food was great service was fantastic. Bread pudding was crazy.

Morton’s is the best steak house I have ever eaten at I keep giving others a try but there service and food is amazing I believe I had a waiter named Chris this was just date night they put me and my husband in an awesome booth and the food goes without words but I will say it was amazing I’m new to Charlotte I always new Morton’s was my top place to go but Charlotte Morton turned an ordinary date night to an excellent experience 😍

I've been to several steakhouses in and around Charlotte and this was one of the worst experiences I've had from a food perspective. The appetizer (escargot) and salad were very good. My steak was fine...overpriced and they charged extra for any sort of topping. The sides were actually the worst part of the meal (brussel sprouts and au gratin potatoes). I've never been more disappointed with a side item before. Dessert (chocolate cake with caramel drizzle) was dry. The service was good but we would not return since our meal was mediocre at best for over $300. Dresslers, BLT, Old Stone Steakhouse are all much better options.

My wife and I just went to Morton's steakhouse last night for my 31st birthday dinner. Overall the experience was ehh ok. I ordered the prime new york strip and she ordered the 8oz filet mignon. When our food came out, my steak was overcooked as I requested medium rare but was more medium/medium-well. My wife's steak was far undercooked as she requested medium and got medium rare/rare. I had the jumbo baked potato which was nothing special, and she had the brussel sprouts which actually not bad. We did not have desert and had 1 drink each, bill was $174 without tip. For that kind of money, I would have rather gone to Del Frisco's or Ruth's Chris. Sorry, but not sorry.

Celebrated Christmas with my kids first time eating out during Christmas everything flowed on time food was good I had the filet with a lobster tail the only thing I would say is that the steak was kinda bland for the price you pay I'm expecting everything to melt in my mouth and be full of flavor I also appreciated that the manager came over when we were done to make sure everything was good so for that I would give them another try

Awesome service! Food was also delicious, would give the shrimp cocktail app a 10 out of 10! Lobster Mac as a side is worth the up charge, huge lumps of lobster. I had the chocolate cake, which was good, but the cheesecake with the creme brûlée crust is to die for (and I'm a chocolate kinda gal). You definitely get what you pay for at Morton's!

I thoroughly enjoyed a filet mignon this past Saturday night. It was the best steak I've ever eaten. Each bite melted in my mouth. Also, the creamed corn and twice baked au gratin potatoes were delicious. The service was exceptional and the atmosphere was relaxing and elegant. Will definitely enjoy another dining experience at this restaurant.

Arrived at 6:30 but no reservations available. There was setting available in the bar area and were seated immediately at a table. As far as we were concerned it was better seating than in the main dinner area.
Initially, service was a bit slow at first but the bar area was quite busy. Once we placed our order within 20 min our food arrived. We ordered the ribeye steak, medium rare. It was cooked to perfection, juice, tender and flavorful.

We go every year to Morton’s on the same day Jan 21st to celebrate our Anniversary and My Birthday. Every year we get amazing service, we get perfect food, perfect service, and a memory with a picture for our Anniversary signed by Morton’s staff. This year was our 12 year Anniversary and my big 40 we got seated in a corner with a cold vent blowing on us the entire time. Our service seemed busy and did really care to ask us how things were etc it was a very cold experience. We got our food and my steak was ordered well done (butterflied) and it came medium rare so I ate everything else we also ordered an extra side of asparagus with Hollandaise sauce, thankfully since I didn’t eat the steak. Not one person said Happy anniversary or Happy Birthday. Our waiter was quick to get us in and out we even had to ask for a refill of our sodas and water. I do not know what happened Morton’s but your service has declined dramatically and I will be picking another restaurant next year. You have lost a customer.

As this was my first time going to Morton’s. My husband and I were celebrating our 2nd wedding anniversary. The service and food was outstanding! The steak was tender and juicy and cooked to the perfect temperature. The asparagus was seasoned perfectly and the shrimp were delicious!
