Even though was really busy we were seated quite quickly. Our server was right there promptly. All food was to order & out quickly. Love their variety. Only thing I don’t care for is their sawmill gravy. Always bland flat & little flavor. Could get along without it.

Had a fabulous dinner. Service was excellent. Michelle was a very courteous server. Totally enjoyed how well the staff got along with each other.
I love the little store here, but FEW items had prices, which made it frustrating to shop. After a bit, they figured out why the fireplace was smoking us out. Our clothing smelled like we'd been at a bonfire. The food was OK at best. My eggs were dried out and small. The sausage patties and bacon were very greasy. (We went thru many paper towels to remove it) I paid extra for chocolate chip pancakes, but they came with only a few chips in them. Our server, Amber, brought out extra on the side. Her service was spot-on.
Very pleased with CBOCS🏆👍🌟✅ Very reasonable price, delicious foods... but limited space, had to wait in line for 25 minutes But Worth the wait!

Our waiter was so not into his job. The food was good & bad. I had the Cheesecake pancakes & they were delicious. I also had the scrambled eggs which were undercooked & sausage which was over cooked. It took our waiter the whole meal to bring out toast to another in our party. The other staff were awesome. It wasn't a totally bad experience, but different. Will definitely eat there again.
Cracker Barrel Old Country Store and Restaurant did not disappoint me in Charlotte either. During my visit around 2:30 pm, there wasn't much going on, so I was led directly to my seat and could photograph undisturbed from there. For lunch, I had opted for the Weekday Lunch Special, consisting of Meatloaf and Mashed Potatoes with a vegetable of my choice - green beans this time. This was accompanied by the obligatory cornbread with Grape Jelly. The service was fast and friendly, the food delicious and reasonably priced. In short, if you like Southern cuisine, the Cracker Barrel and its value for money is very good.
The wait was about 30 to 45 minutes which wasn't really that bad for a Sunday after church. The food and our host was good she brought our food out hot and fresh and kept of drinks full and checked on us, the only thing I'll say is there parking lot is small and fills up quick so you may have to drive around the lot a few times while someone else goes inside and puts your name on the list besides that you should have a good time, enjoy.
Arrived a little after 11am, and shortly after that every table was full. Had to wait a little while for food to arrive. The food was worth the wait!! It was hot and delicious. Kevin was our server. He was busy but managed to take good care of us.

I normally get the Chicken N’ Dumplings and got the grilled chicken tenders this time. WOW! So flavorful and juicy! I’ve converted - so long Chicken n dumplings! Consistently great mashed potatoes/ brown gravy and fried okra.
The good news is the main course was excellent. The corn bread slightly dry. The service is lacking, I'm sorry to say, when plates sit on the table and empty glasses are never removed it's not cool. I fell like they may be low on staff. We ordered our food and sat about twenty minutes to eat when the food arrived. The waitress brought our check without asking if we wanted coffee or anything else. We decided to walk through the gift shop and were basically watched closely by several staff walking around. Possibly they have high theft numbers in this location. The clerk who rang me up was very nice and helpful. I did find some cute Christmas items and gifts.

I was pleasantly surprised that catfish was still on the Queen City Dr store menu. We live on the southeast side of Charlotte. I was very disappointed when the Hwy 74/Independence Blvd restaurant greatly minimized their menu to very limited items that no longer carry several favorites, including the catfish dinner. To the customers' dismay, so many chain restaurants split between corporate and regional sites. I need Cracker Barrell to return to full menus in all restaurants.
