Was visiting the Charlotte area and my boyfriend and I decided to stop in for a couple of burgers. Daniel M was an exceptional server and gave great recommendations. We ended up getting 2 create your own burgers for $30, and was well worth it. Sweet potato fries were yummy! Will definitely be back!

It had been a while since I’ve been back to this spot… Solid service, great food and family friendly atmosphere. Our server (Foster) was great and took good care of us.. we ordered the wings and deviled eggs for apps and the daddy’s philly and Emilio’s chicken sandwiches for entree’s. Food was served in a timely manner and was delish. Would go back here again

Their burgers are quite good and reasonably priced. We had the Bad Daddy's burger with pineapple salsa, Monterey jack cheese and their custom sauce. They also had good homemade kettle chips. It was delicious! The service was excellent. I did not try the many milkshakes they have, but I will be returning and will try them.

Shout-out to KYLE and TARA for their rock star service tonight! They served FIFTEEN of me and my coworkers and had everything ready in an organized and timely manner with AMAZINGLY POSITIVE demeanors! The food and drinks were fresh and delicious! We didn't have to wait a long time for anything! KYLE was on top of it and I am thoroughly impressed and grateful! I would recommend this restaurant to anyone! Great atmosphere, monster burgers and delicious mixed drinks. I had the 14oz All-American burger and home fries and a delicious Pineapple Jalapeño Margarita. They make their Tequila in house. They also have Jalapeño Bacon and Buttermilk Fried Bacon that is also made in house. Great bang for your buck! Highly recommend!

Went there this evening and had a good time. Food was good, waitress was nice enough. Atmosphere was nice as well. A few niggles though which is why it's at 4 stars. 1 I checked before I came and was under the impression that teachers got happy hour all day, yet this location doesn't do that, or anything for teachers. Bit of a let down there.
Secondly, the onion rings were room temperature when they arrived and we're not crispy in the slightest. With that said, they tasted nice, had a nice thick slice of onion in them too. The sogginess of them was a let down though.
Thirdly, was disappointed with the kids option as nothing comes on the burger except meat, cheese, and bun. My five year old has a decent palate and enjoys lettuce, tomato, onion, and pickle on her burger. I wish we would have been given the option, or been told about the state of the kids burger, so we could have amended the situation.

Easily 5 Stars! It’s not too often you can find a spot with a great beer selection AND phenomenally tasty food. We both ate everything off our plates, it was delicious! The Truffle Fries were fantastic and really flavorful. The burger was cooked to perfection and the flavor of the meat patty was as good as you could hope for. Everything was fantastic including the service! I will 100% be returning here for another experience. Thank you!!

My wife and I came into this establishment to have a good meal as we are moving to the greater Charlotte area. With any transition, it can be tough, throw in a toddler and it’s even more of an adventure. That being said, our toddler is at the “fun” stage when restaurants can be a challenge. Some fellow patrons were not as understanding of our current challenges, however, this staff, at all levels, from the staff to management, especially our waitress Emily, were more than accommodating to help us deal with this situation. Many establishments boast that they are family friendly, but this place means it. Beyond that, the service and food were beyond exceptional. We will be back as regulars!

Burger was great but not the fries. The fries had a great seasoning, but were soggy beyond repair as when I later air fried them, they lost flavor and were not at all good. Their home sauce is super yummy though. They should also supply napkins for to-go orders

I have heard about this place and we finally decided to give it a try. Four of us ate for just under $100 with tip and that included an appetizer and an extra small order of onion rings(consists of 4 big onion rings). My husband had the burger on steroids with onion rings, I had the black bean burger with homemade potato chips, my daughter had chicken tenders and homemade potato chips, and her boyfriend had the Philly cheesesteak with tater tots. Everyone enjoyed their food, and we all loved the fried pickles!! Our favorite was the homemade potato chips and the fried pickles. I got the French onion dip for my chips, but didn’t care for it. Looking forward to trying the pimento cheese instead on our next visit. Atmosphere was great, hostess was nice and friendly, and waitress was pretty good too.

Ordered the BD's All American with homemade cheese, side of french fries, and a vanilla milkshake.
Service was stretched a bit thin due to heavy traffic, yet managed to be faster than I had anticipated. Bartender and hostess were plesant despite the chaotic atmosphere.
When I think of a high-end burger, THIS is what I'm thinking about. Beef patty was actually cooked according to my preferences, and it doesn't skimp out either. If you get the burger alone, it is heavy competition compared to other joints nearby.
The fries are good, and the milkshake! Oh, the milkshake. I haven't had a shake that thick in years! Again, you get a lot for your money's worth compared to other stores.
It's been forever since I've been to Bad Daddy's at Ballantyne. The flavor has drastically improved since then and now I consider it a place worth visiting, whether you're a local or just passing by. If the manager reads this, give my thanks to the hardworking employees who have helped to brighten my day and defy my expectations. I wish you all the best!

The food was pretty good and the waitress was very friendly and professional.I have the Kim honey chicken sandwich with sweet potato fries (not a fan) and my friend ordered the Philly with smoked gouda and onion rings. I will be back in the future for sure and the fried deviled eggs are my fave.

I have been here three different times, and they never disappoint me. I've tried the patty melt, black bean burger and Kim's honey chicken sandwich. All were phenomenal, even the black bean burger! Raw fries are crispy, and so are the tots. The wait staff are always friendly, pleasant and knowledgeable about the menu. It is our go-to place in Ballentyne, and pretty much we'll drive there if we want a good burger. I recommend it highly.

Fantastic experience every time. I always order the crispy cantina black bean burger because it's flavorful and delicious. If I want a burger, the bistro burger is divine. I love their tater tots and how much you get for your money! Their milkshakes are also phenomenal. You can't go wrong with anything you order at Bad Daddy's!

First let me start out by saying I’m not a vegetarian. My wife and I order the black bean patty and I was quite surprised. It had great flavor and was very tasty. I got mine grilled but my wife got hers crunch, that was a better way to go. The patio was hot and the fans didn’t work adding to the heat but the food was great and the drinks delicious. I would definitely recommend it as a nice alternative to the bar scene as it more of a family establishment that just happens to serve booze.

Enjoyed a delicious birthday dinner at bad daddy’s on Tuesday evening with my husband. Restaurant was busy, but we were seated by the hostess immediately. Our server (Daniel.M?) was amazing. Not only did our burgers look incredible but they tasted delicious too. I enjoyed the bad ass margaritas (I can see why they limit you to two 🤪) and my husband sipped on a local Charlotte craft beer 🍻. Our server surprised us when he brought the check with a banana bread pudding to go, since it was my birthday 🎂 An awesome time, as always, at bad daddy’s Ballantyne.

I enjoyed the food. I had onion rings and a chopped asian salad. The rings were crispy and hot with tender onion inside. the salad was very generous with shredded mixed cabbages, peppers, carrots, mandarins, peanuts, crunchy shreds and a nicely seasoned cold chicken. Our server was polite and attentive but not overly so. A big bonus--he called us "Ladies" instead of the so common and always dreaded "guys"... Only negative was a little too loud music, but I liked what was being played. Will return again and again.

My husband and I came here for date night! I have to eat gluten free and I wanted to try out their burgers and GF bun. The burger was very good and the bun was great, not dry/soggy like some GF buns can be. I was a little disappointed in their lack of GF side items, I had the choice of either chili or a bag of cape cod potato chips. A couple other GF options would have been nice! My husband loved his burger and the tater tots along with a draft beer. We will definitely be back!

My boyfriend I decided to try something new, but neither of us were much of a fan. He had a burger with egg on it that was undercooked. I was surprised he ate it. The house chips that came with it were only editable with lots of Ketchup. I had bacon queso with tortilla chips. The chips were stale but that wasn't the worst part. It tasted like sour cream when it was supposed to just be cheese dip. At least we have a place to add to our where not to go list.

Okay I have been here a million times and every time it's awesome but tonight I had a bad day at work so I ordered in and treated myself to a dessert well I just want to say the banana pudding is the best I have ever had I can't believe I have missed out this whole time!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
