Enjoyed this restaurant! Had the eggs Benedict which was good. Country fried breakfast was great. Taste in coffee is a personal choice but didn't really enjoy their coffee (wonder what blend they use) but other than that, I liked Eddie's place.
We ordered the country fried breakfast with hash brown on the side and the house egg benedict with hash brown. Eddie's Place is normally busy and there's a waitlist but we arrived on a Tuesday around 8-9AM and there wasn't a line. Customer service is great! I do recommend this restaurant and I would return.
We came to Charlotte to see a football game. Looking for a great place to have breakfast. Our server Megan, who is a fan of a rival team, was amazing. Friendly banter, excellent food and a great atmosphere. All while being very reasonably priced. Eddies Place is awesome and I would highly recommend them.
First time going to this restaurant for breakfast and it was a great experience. The hostess was nice and welcoming. Our waiter was friendly and helpful. Had Eggs Benedict with shredded hash browns and it was delicious! Waffles were good too. There’s a lot of parking there.
GREAT service. Everyone was so nice and friendly. I came on a Saturday morning and the place was jammed packed. The wait time was 45 mins to an hour but I didn’t mind waiting. My sister discovered that the bar area was available so we ate there. A local recommended the “man-mosa” which was tasty and strong. I also had the shrimp and grits and OMG it was AMAZING 🤩 Anna made us great drinks and Rickey sang to us. The food wasn’t overly expensive and the quality was superb.
Went for breakfast on the weekend. They open at 8, we arrived at 817 and got the last open table. They were definitely struggling to keep up with the crowd and it took till 9ish to get our food. Despite this they get all the stars because the food and service were amazing. I can't emphasize that though. We had Ben as a server and he was NEXT LEVEL. Efficient, kind, entertaining, and engaged our 9 year old multiple times. We got the country fried breakfast (get this!), Chicken and waffles, and a special french toast with chocolate sauce. Everything was a 5/5. I will arrive right when they open or around 9 or after when things are a little more in rhythm. I noticed they offer take out orders also. They have a fair amount of outdoor tables.
Update: been several times since the first review. Still the best service hands down.
Loved this place. Stephanie, our server, was excellent. Everyone was friendly and hospitable. Food was yummy with generous servings. They serve breakfast and lunch/dinner all day long. A must try is the she crab soup!

One of the Best (& one of my favorite) Charlotte neighborhood staples! Incredible breakfast, speedy service and everything on the menu tastes GREAT! You cannot get anything bad here! Seriously. It’s ALL delicious and it is so every, single time - CONSISTENTLY FABULOUS! Lunch and dinner choices are all divine too! We go here after church, for lunch, for takeout and sometimes dine-in and the servers are the best!
Waiter was great. Food was tasty. Great solid breakfast options. Portions are large. Would recommend for someone who wants local service at a good price.
If I was a betting man I'd think Eddie waited on us. Understaffed but maintained a high level of service even though computer system was on the fritz. Place has a rustic greezy spoon look to it. We ordered spinach artichoke dip app, shrimp po boy, corn beef reuben, and extra side of bacon mac to try. The dip was creamy artichoke spinach goodness. The issue was its served in a cup but is accompanied by a bowl of chips. The po boy was fantastic. Shrimp well cooked and tasty. The reuben was good but didn't stand out. Lastly, the bacon mac was served a little soupy. Stired it and let it set for a minute to thicken. The cheese and bacon combined with well cooked pasta made the meal. Good meal for a fair price. Would rush back but would definitely return.
