By far, the absolute best filet I have ever had. Our service was spectacular and the staff is so personable. We were there to celebrate my husbands birthday and they definitely made it one to remember.
The steak, well done, was so tender and delicious! Service was excellent as well. Wasn’t too crowded on Mother’s Day. I can’t wait to go again.
Enjoyed a recent dinner at this location of Ruth's Chris. I have dined at a number of Ruth's Chris' across the country, I have never been served a "bad" meal but have had meals that did not meet expectations. This was NOT the case in Charlotte. Despite a large group our meal was very good.
Our group had multiple appetizers for the table to share that included Calamari, Seared Ahi Tuna, Veal Raviloi and more. All were very good. For my soup and salad course I had the Lobster Bisque and honestly it was not very good at all. The positive is that they more than made up for it with an very good NY Strip Steak. I like my steaks medium rare + (a little more than medium rare, but not quite medium) and they got it really close to perfect for my taste.
Enjoyed a slice of house made cheese cake with fresh berries.
In all a nice dinner and would recommend.
My first visit to Ruths Steak House and was impressed.
Ambience was good. Lots of tables but safer to book a reservation ahead.
Staff were just brilliant and when Steve realised it was our first visit, he went about explaining details of key items on the menu and recommended us some brilliant options.
Finally settled for Spicy Lobster and Seared Ahi Tuna. Lobster was fried and tossed in sauce and was just perfect. Tuna was good.
Now I went for the Petite Fillet Medium rare ( tender beef steak served on a 500 degree plate on butter). This was best item.
My friend was not really happy with his medium rare. Staff took about 3 minutes and came back with a completely fixed steak :)
Shoestring extra thin fries with sauce are decent. The place is also famous for its wine.
This is a fine dining restaurant and prices are surely on higher side.
Great Service. Not my first choice for a steakhouse but the staff was very good and everthing was perfect. Great drinks and ribeye. Yum.
They had a hot chocolate cake and ice cream dessert special that was to die for!!!
Not bad but a little overpriced.. We had dinner here after seeing an opera at the Belk. The food is good, service is great and the ambiance is inviting and very special. We ordered the pre-fixe dinner at $40.00 each which came with salad, app choice (mashed, mushrooms, spinach), entree (chicken, shrimp, small steak), and a small dessert (flan and fruit). Food is good but I think slightly overpriced, however, they give you a lot for the money. The sides are enough to share so keep that in mind. I would probably go back for a special occasion.
Great food! It's amaizing the food stays hot throughout dinner! The staff is very professional! It's very exspensive but well worth it for that special occasion
Great service, fantastic ambience, creamed spinach is superb. How all dining should be.
OMG!!!. I can not afford to eat here often which is okay because it remains a tremendous treat visited only on very special occasions. The STEAK is by far the best you will eat in your lifetime. It is prepared at 500 degrees and comes sizzling on your plate. Always prepared perfectly to taste. Food is served al a carte and sides are meant to be shared. The service is outstanding.It can get a bit busy at times but all in all the atmosphere is classy.
Best Steak.. Money aside Ruth Chris offers the best steak preperation in the business. That whole thing with the 4billion degree oven and the high end butter works. Don't schedule a physical the next day.
I'm not a big fan of the ambiance in Southpark or Uptown (Palm or Capital Grille win that award). But if your in it for the steak put your money w Ruthie
For an appetizer I order the Veal Osso Buco Ravioli ($13.) with saffron-infused pasta filled with veal osso buco and fresh mozzarella, served with sautéed baby spinach and a white wine demi-glace. If the ravioli isn’t good enough already the white wine demi-glace will send you over the edge.
Was at a company function with a few menu choices predetermined. I went with the NY Strip, medium rare, of course. When the steak arrived it was filled with gristle to the point people could actually hear my knife going over it. No kidding, it was about a quarter inch thick and ran all through the steak. I know the cook can't tell what's inside of it. We asked for the filet instead and our wait staff was happy to oblige in replacing the steak. And it was perfection!!! The staff was great and the side items were excellent as well. It turned out to be a great experience!
The best restaurant I have ever been to in my life. It’s not easy spending an anniversary alone but the welcoming, caring attention from staff made it much easier. This will be a must stop every time I’m in town. The food was amazing and I can say it was easily the best service I’ve ever experienced in my decades of life.
Very nice atmosphere and excellent customer service! The food was also very delicious! We just left there for Mother’s Day and Dom was our waiter! He was absolutely amazing! He’s is the face of customer service! Thanks for a job well done Dom! We will see you again real soon!

Came here for an anniversary dinner. Had a very nice time. The atmosphere was decent, but was definitely a little loud. Lots of large parties made it hard to have conversation. The service was wonderful. Our server Dom was very knowledgeable about the menu and the food preparation process. He gave plenty of suggestions. The food was good, but I thought it was a little pricey for what it was. I have steaks that were just as good for a lower price. I would come back, but would probably do it on a less crowded night.

We had an amazing evening/dinner. Our waiter was Devin and he was so considerate and attentive. He knew the menu well and answered all of our questions. The food was amazing!! I'll never be able to cook steak for my boyfriend again because his expectations will be set too high after this dinner. The steak was an amazing cut, seasoned well and cooked to perfection. The knife went in buttery smooth when you cut the steak. The French onion soup was amazing and so were the chocolate lava cakes. Not a single thing to complain about.
Devin took note of 2 important things that night. The first it being our anniversary and the second that being my partner was drinking adult beverages and I wasn't. He asked in the sweetest way whether or not I drink alcohol and I told him I didn't, he took note of that and walked away. I didn't think much about it. When he came out with the desserts he also had 2 champagne flutes with him. When he put them on the table he leaned over to let me know mine was ginger ale! I've never had such an amazing waiter go out of their way to make sure we had a great time and that we were comfortable. Between the amazing food and Devin we had the best experience.

Went here for the first time for my husbands birthday and was not disappointed! Such an awesome experience and we cannot wait to go back. Foster was our waiter and he was phenomenal and very attentive. We had bbq shrimp for the appetizer, Ribeye Steak, Petite filet w shrimp, lobster Mac and cheese, fries & Cesar salad & it ALL was amazing. Cannot say enough good things about this place & will definitely request Foster each time we go! Thank you for making my husbands birthday so memorable!!
10/10 recommend for a date night, birthday, etc.. service was excellent. The waitresses and waiters were very kind. We got the New York Strip, it was the best steak I have ever had. Best caesar salad i’ve ever had as well.. and definitely get a lemon drop martini!! 🍸
My husband and I dined here the evening of 8/2/2023 and the food was excellent! The drinks were refreshing and tasty! Our server Liam was excellent and friendly. With the decline of a lot of businesses lately it’s nice to see this location still holds true to a nice dining experience. We will keep this location on our options list for future date nights!
