This was a last min lunch spot we stopped at and were not disappointed! Our server (Joseph) was so friendly and nice. Service was super fast, drinks and food came out right away. Burgers were amazing and drinks were also super tasty. Highly recommend!

This place has one of best burgers I have tasted in a long time. The fries were dusted with Parmesan and the burger was flavorful and delicious. The drinks were amazing. I took my family to try something new late night and was not disappointed. Cowbell has a very chill night life. Our Server was named Sidney and she was super sweet. Attentive and friendly. I will be returning with my friends and asking for her. The aesthetics of the restaurant are homely but very classy. Overall, you should give this place a try. The food is priced really well for the portions!

This is a small establishment but worth the wait. The burgers are their specialty, and they are good. We had family visiting for the Panthers/Dallas football game and came here for the first time. Parking is a little tricky, but they validate the parking if you go to the LAZ parking lot around the corner.
I gave it 4 stars for the atmosphere because it was a little dark. So it made it a little difficult to read the menu.
Our server was Taylor. She was great. Very patient and knew the menu and beer selections. It was very busy, but it was worth the wait. All of us had a different burger:
Carolina Burger - (chili, mild cheddar, cole slaw)
Boogan's Bacon - (bacon marmalade, red onion, Roasted garlic aioli)
Smash Hit (caramelized onions)
Imami- (Shitake mushrooms & caramelized onions)
So.e of us had regular fries, but the Parmesan fries were delicious.
Everyone enjoyed their selections. I will definitely be coming back with hubby or family.

Great little spot and bartenders were great. Had the ultimate cuz burger which was great and the cheese sauce was very good. Parmesan fries were tasty and homemade ranch complimented it well.

We had gone next door to a nearly empty dandelion restaurant. We needed reservations while the entire place sat nearly empty. So we left and patroned this place, instead. Definitely, a far better choice. Walked in, the place was "jumping", good music playing, loud and lively, nearly every table was occupied. We thought we wouldn't be seated again , so I asked if we need reservations and the hostess, said no, with a face reaction of.. Are you Kidding?
Right On! We were seated immediately and after that it truly was a great dining experience. The good tunes kept rolling, the beer was extra tasty, and my food was "on point", i liked the rock n roll decor. Our server was the true gem of the whole night. She was very personable, Attentive, and didn't miss a beat. Overall, the food and drinks are great, but the service makes me want to be a returning customer. The adult smores milkshake was amazing with that burnt, smoky flavor throughout the drink.

What an amazing spot! Food is amazing and decor is so fun. The staff is also great! We got some burgers and all of us loved it. My pick was the Melt, to which I added an egg to it and it was beyond delicious, they had ran out of sourdough bread, but it was an amazing burger nonetheless with the brioche bun. Highly recommend this spot!

I love this place, I come downtown occasionally and every time I come here they are always great. The burgers are delicious, the bartenders are super nice and friendly. Even if I don’t say anything they will make sure that your glass won’t be empty.

Wish my burger hadn't been burnt, but the fact they sell smash burgers here is legendary. Best kind of burger. The cinnamon tots were also delicious!

Big, big fan! I had the fried chicken sandwich and it was delicious! Fried perfectly with great flavor/seasoning. We were mostly there for the bourbon, and the choices did not disappoint. We did the flight, allowing us to try a few bourbon choices we hadn't dared buy. The cocktails were great too.
Service wasn't up to the same level, with us feeling ignored/forgotten at times, but this didn't deter us. We will 100% be going back!

I had the Bruiser Burger and the salad as my side. They're lemon dressing for the salad was phenomenal. As far as the burger, nothing special at all. Service was good. Atmosphere, needs a little bit of work. If you're going to Bill yourself as a whiskey bar it should be geared towards that. I didn't know what the hell this place was, rock and roll bar, Sports bar, kind of like a lost pup. But it was okay.

So the atmosphere is very nice. Love the deem lights. The staff and our server was nice. We came around 12 so they offer a Late Night menu from 12-2. The options is fair. I ordered the chicken sandwich and it was juicy and not over cooked ( very much a plus). Food came out in good timing.
Reason I didn’t give a 5 star is due to music. The music was set to rock N roll and I think diversity in
music would have been good.

Cool atmosphere and vibes. Wife had the melt which was awesome, I had a regular smash burger and it was so smothered in mayo that it fell apart in my hands and I couldn’t finish it. Bit of a mess. Again, the melt was awesome.

Great place for a burger. Speakeasy vibe. Huge selection of adult beverages. Service was on point. The ultimate cheese burger was epic. The bruiser burger had a grind and flavor to the beef. Cooked perfect.

The most amazing burgers I've had in the Carolinas. I went here for the first time today for my birthday. Service was amazing, the food came out in a great time, and of course the food was amazing. The best part about the bacon burger I got was the garlic sauce that really made the flavors pop in the burger. The lettuce felt like it had the right amount of moisture on it. The bacon felt sweet but not too crispy too. And the bread had this nice buttery taste to it.
10/10 experience. Definitely will be going back some time soon :).

Let me start off with the service. We were greeted as soon as we walked in and sat immediately. Drink order was fast and brought to the table. I ordered the Ultimate Chzburger. What a monster of a burger. A thick patty of beef (not those flat smashed things people call burgers) fried onions straws, fried mozzarella patty, bacon and cheese sauce topped with a soft pretzel bun. It's a messy burger no doubt. But it was very flavorful and filling. I definitely recommend if you're feeling extra hungry and wanting to put down the beast of a burger. All in all we had a great experience with the staff and food.

One of those hidden gems in Charlotte. It is too good not to share with everyone. Best burger I've had in a very long time! Apple pie mule was amazing. Service was just right. Music videos added a nice touch to the energetic but relaxing atmosphere. Will be back for sure!

Truly unique experience. The bruiser burger was next level, very well balanced flavors. The bread pudding reminded me of July barbecue at grandparents house. It was a wonderful experience.

It is an understatement to say the GFY burger was one of the best burgers I’ve ever had. It was perfectly cooked, well balanced flavors between the richness of the foie gras the heat and sweet of the sauce. Their take on the Old Fashined was the perfect way to round out the meal. The service was fast and friendly even for a busy Friday night.

My daughter and I had tickets to see Phantom of Opera and wanted a restaurant close to the Blumenthal. Absolutely the best choice! The atmosphere and decor was outstanding as was the service and food choices! Our waitress was extremely attentive even though the place was packed (Phantom & Hornets)! Highly recommend and we can’t wait for a return visit!

We had a fantastic server last night. Do not skip the Sinatra appetizer! Fresh beef burgers that I love naked, and the mac n cheese was creamy and well balanced. The drinks were cold, and heavy handed. We can’t wait to come back.
