This is our go-to place all the time. Been going since I found it randomly years ago. We drive over half an hour but it’s so so soooo worth it. From Philly, so always looking for good food. Theirs is great! Love the sauce they use. Great value for the money. Please give it a try, then come give them the 5+ stars they deserve 😁. And say hi to Mauro when you call in an order.

Went for lunch and had the shrimp parmigiana it was very good. Too bad it’s so far from where I live because I can see myself going back. 1 hour drive is just too much for a meal. But if I’m ever in the neighborhood again, then yes most definitely. Wait staff was very pleasant and attentive.
I forgot…… The bread. O. M. G. I would go back for the bread alone. ❤️

The atmosphere was very friendly, open chatter but quiet enough to hear your neighbor speak .
The hosts were very time efficient even with a restaurant full. The meals were correctly placed and delivered with polite smiles and did not rush the meal.
The food was nicely seasoned and hosts suggestions were also great! The kids menu was easy to choose from.
If dining with someone with mobility needs I would inform the hosts in advance to assure wheelchair/mobility aid space

I would have enjoyed it more had myself and a friend been able to enjoy slices of pizza and drinks at a table. Neither of us eat enough to order a whole pie, would have been a waste (small pepperoni 12.95). We ended up ordering 2 slices($4 a piece) to go and eating in my car. Btw, nowhere on the menu or establishment does it state this rule. Lesson learned. Taste great though.

I’ve been eating at this restaurant since I was eleven years old and now I’m thirty. I love this restaurant, the service is always kind and super fast and the atmosphere is always very chill and CLEAN. I ordered a large pizza w/bacon, mushrooms and pepperoni. So HOT and FRESH!!! I also tried the buffalo wings w/blue cheese dip and they were also soo tasty. My favorite restaurant!!! They also have a chill seating/Dine-in area if you’re meeting up with coworkers for lunch or just an evening with friends or family. I recommend this location! Thank you Portofino’s for an amazing experience each and every time!!!

This place is Operator Owned and he's an old fashioned hard working pizza man! I love every dish I've had. But fav is simply a tossed salad with marinated veggies and a piece of grilled salmon on top! House dressing please 😘

Where to start?! Everything from the food to the service is more then I expected . As you walk in , you can smell the fresh Italian bread being baked to the chatter of people enjoying a family dinner. Mauro, very kindly answered a few of my questions while my family and I waited for a table. He personally walked us to our table . Our server was very helpful ,fast and knowledgeable. Mauro during our dinner made sure to check on us . Made us feel welcomed. I will for sure come back to this establishment more often. . Would highly recommend the chicken marsala and the pizza .

I am a New Yorker that is serious about my pizza. When in NY there are only 3 or 4 places I will go for my Pizza. (depending on which borough I am in). Well in NC there is only one. This is the only Italian eatery I frequent. I've tried a couple others that people swear by and they have not lived up to the hipe. Great menu altogether. Seafood always of high quality, fresh and delicious. My daughter knows me and knew where to take me. I have not deviated since 2004 and they have not disappointed. When my sister moved here a few ago we had a pizza competition. When I walked in with my portafino box her husband expressed right away " now that's pizza". Never disappoints.

A nice little place if you are craving Italian food. It is not the best food I have had but is decent and the prices are fair. The service is very good though.

Had a great meal at Portofino’s in Charlotte NC. Tried the pizza and the penne a la vodka- both were delicious. The ambiance was nice and service was fantastic. Big thanks to Nathan! Will definitely go back!
