“Enjoyed a pleasant visit to this establishment, with standout service from the attentive and friendly staff. While the shrimp dish was well-cooked and flavorful, the chicken and beef options were a bit tough. The pico de gallo didn’t feel entirely fresh, and the guacamole, while decent, lacked the traditional lime and garlic kick of Mexican guac.
Accompanying rice and beans were disappointingly hard for the intended dish. On the bright side, my coworkers praised the diverse drink selection, including margaritas, bourbons, beers, and wine.
Overall, a unique spot with potential; a boost in flavor could elevate it to a 5-star dining experience.”
Good food and good service. Decent portions very tasty. Environment and music can get more help but overall a good spot to get food
I've been hearing about his place for the longest and when I went I see why everyone told me to go to the OG location in NoDa! This place is great! The staff is cool, the vibes are awesome, and the food? ON Point!🤤
I ordered the Rasta Pasta with the Baja Shrimp and Crab dip...🤦🏽♂️ Sooo Good! Definitely my favorite! For drinks I grabbed the frozen Blueberry 🫐 Margarita! I will definitely visit again and again!

Wonderful establishment, fast and friendly service. Has a good amount of space for seating, went around 5pm on a Saturday and got a spot right away. Drinks are very good and the food is equally great with a good size portion that I left satisfied. Highly recommend.
Its Cabo fish tacos. I have been here more than 10 times. It a 7 minute walk. You can never go wrong. They have the chefs special tacos on the board everyday and thats what I usually get. Their carne asada taco is some of the best I ever had.
This was not my first time eating here. And I can honestly say that the experience is consistent every... single...time. We arrived early on a Friday evening and were promptly seated. In fact, it took way longer for us to find parking than it did to get a table. Our waitress was patient and attentive throughout our visit. She was also knowledgeable about the menu as well as dietary restrictions (gluten-free). We took her suggestion about mixing and matching to try different tacos.
Our food came out very quickly. All of our orders were prepared exactly as requested. The portions are generous and the food was flavorful. Just a few warnings: the complimentary salsa is a bit on the spicy side. The Honey Wasabi Sauce on the Tavarua tacos was a little heavy but I survived.
If I had to take off for anything, it would be the ambiance. It's pretty dark which made it difficult to take good photos. And it was also very loud.

The food is indeed delicious. (2 Tacos is a decent portion, but a 3rd would've been awesome! Lol)
The atmosphere is just OK to me. Nothing is in there.
The service was decent, but no smiling faces in there at all. Everyone did their jobs well, very attentive, but they were all kinda bland. In other words, no one seemed happy to be there.

I took a day trip to the Queen City to visit an army buddy and we decided to go here. I also wanted to go here because of the tv show with Guy Fieri. I ordered the Barbeque Mahi-Mahi ( the most popular taco and the taco that Fieri ate) and the Honey Glazed Salmon Taco. This is the best fish taco I ever had in my life! This restaurant is the gem for Charlotte!
Food and service were awesome! Our food was out very fast after ordering. I had the Honey Soy Salmon tacos with the jalapeño cheddar mashers and it was all great. It was our first time here and our waitress, Emma, was great to recommend the popular items. Will definitely be back if we visit Charlotte again!
Came in for lunch, and informed the waiter of my severe food allergies to egg and peanut, and ordered the specials, which the kitchen said were safe. They come out, and one of the tacos had an unlisted item- white slaw. I asked the waiter about it, and after multiple times of him asking the kitchen, they then informed him that it indeed did have eggs. I was promptly given a replacement taco that was safe.
