Nana Morrison's Soul Food - Charlotte - Photo album

Came here with our 3 boys while passing through Charlotte. Everything looked really good. It is cafeteria style. I got the catfish, collard greens and Mac and Cheese and cornbread. Our oldest ordered meatloaf/Mac and cheese and stuffing. My middle son ordered the ribs, youngest had fried chicken/
We saw their I-77 sign heading back to SC. Wonderful variety of true soul food to choose from. We split a large plate of the daily special Bourbon Chicken, fried Pork Chop, corn muffin, collards, and Mac & Cheese. Holy cow, some of the best M&C that I've had in recent memory. So creamy and cheesy! S
The best soul food! Everything was so good. The service was wonderful. We tried so many different entrees and sides and sat outside on the beautiful patio. It was better than Thanksgiving!
Definitely an eatery to have on your "spot to stop" list in Charlotte, NC. Courteous staff, variety of well prepared flavors, extra clean with sufficient seating. Someone has studied Jerkish...the wings are slamming!! Fried chicken wings are at the top of the chicken charts. An impressive family own
Nice spot some staff courteous, one particular staff was rude and having a bad day and should not have been working up front! But the candied yams, ribs, jerk chicken, and collard greens was so good! Like my mama was back there cooking. Will definitely return again.
Well well well!! What more can I say šŸ¤¤ So glad we found NaNaā€™s this evening, after shopping at the outlet, my husband & I wanted some Soul Food and we got food for the soul at NaNaā€™s ā¤ļø The servers were friendly with smiles ready to serve, The food area was clean šŸ˜˜ I had smothered pork chops white r
Food is good. Line was long but they moved it along fast. Sort of lunch line style at a buffet. The chicken was good as well as the sides. Not a fan of the sweet potato pie though. The inside isnā€™t going to blow your mind either. If youā€™re looking for good soul food then you can find it here. Staff
I wasnā€™t a fan of the fried chicken however the sides were immaculate. the mac and cheese is too good!!! I only wished that they gave you warm cornbread and warm peach cobbler and this place is on the pricier side. Besides that, for the most part everything was pretty good. The staff was awesome and
Good food selection. They stay pretty steady. Food was good. Convenience fee (tip) is included with your food purchase which seems to be fair.
Loved the cabbage and the Mac and cheese, The slaw was to die for as was the potato salad šŸ™ Pork chops were cooked hot and now and delicious. The pre-cooked fried chicken though was lacking. Very tiny drumstick and thigh two bites each at these prices you would assume you'd get your fill. But overal
Nice Soul food place that was near our hotel. So many items to select and mix and match as you want. We took small plates. One choice of meat and two veggies and one place with all veggies.
Visiting from Greensboro and decided to try this spot while in town. 10/10 ! Food was amazing. The line was out the door but service was quick. Their yams and cornbread were top tier. Give them a try definitely.
Variety of meats and vegetables to choose from with that southern touch to it. The staff was very friendly and helpful in deciding which dish to choose from. I had curry chicken, collard greens and sweet potatoes and everything was delicious. The cornbread that comes with it couldā€™ve been better it
The main courses are so good. I had the Fried chicken, cat fish, and fried pork chop. The sides need to be cooked with more love. Specifically the collards and cabbage. No seasoningā€¦ like red pepper, smoked turkey, something!!! The cake tasted store bought and not homemade. The potatoā€™s salad was go
I haven't been here in 10 years, but on my pass thru, I stopped in to get some soul food. It is definitely different from 10 years ago. Much much better šŸ‘šŸ½ Nana, did not disappoint, and the atmosphere was GuD. I had the smothered porkchop over white rice, mac & cheese. The mac is still tasting delic
I was referred here by a friend. I had a taste for fish and he recommended this spot. I was greeted and welcomed by the staff . The service was fast and i was able to figure out what dish i wanted with ease. I just came for the cat fish this visit, but i look forward to patronizing again and trying
