They weren't kidding when they said long wait times. We tried making reservations online and the system wouldn't let us. We ended up sitting at the bar but WOW can I just say those were some of the most uncomfortable seats ever! I literally had to climb into my seat and jump to get down I know I'm short but I've never had this issue anywhere else when sitting at a bar. Our server was super nice and attentive even though it was slammed packed busy. We got crab Rangoon dip and the tuna nachos for appetizers. The crab Rangoon was more cream cheese than crab would not recommend for the price I felt like I got jipped. The tuna tacos were pretty good but felt like they needed a different sauce. All the sushi we got was delicious. Overall great place if you can get an actual table. Maybe stick to just the sushi though because the appetizers were not worth it.

Incredible experience! We weren't sure which sushi we had in our bento box from a year ago, the waitress and the manager spent so much individualized time with us to figure it out. It was amazing! They found our sushi and our lunch experience was perfect. 10/10 we're coming again š«¶

Simply put this restaurant is amazing! Our first experience here was phenomenal, food is delicious, service was fast and professional, and prices were reasonable. Will definitely be back for more.

My significant other and I came here with our corgis. We were there for dinner and the service was amazing! They are so attentive!
The food was so amazing as well! We had sushi rolls (which we had left overs because serving size is huge) and a burger and fries (for our dog). We had an appetizer which was crab Rangoon. I would recommend that appetizers to anyone! Itās like a crab cheese dip! Burger was the squeal burger! It was to die for!
Come and visit this restaurant and it is dog friendly!

This is has been one of our favorite restaurants since 2016. We always start with the Crab Rangoon Dip. My go to meal has always been a build your own burger. Most restaurants donāt have turkey burgers so this is always something I enjoy. My favorite part is the fries. I love the seasoning blend they add to them. Hubby has tried many of the burgers. The thundering herd bison burger is his favorite and the Boursin bacon burger is a close second. Lately heās been into their sushi rolls (we only eat cooked sushi). The Mad Mango-cado is his favorite! He tired the North Hills Roll for the first time but the cilantro was overwhelming. The tempura roll is good as well. Definitely recommended the Mad Mango-cado!

Loved this place! I only gave 4 stars as lunch took forever. No complaints on food or service. Server knew which foods might have surprise gluten. A+ We each had the bento box and were full and satisfied. Nice presentation too!

What a fantastic place to visit! If you love sushi, this is a great place to visit! If you love burgers, it is an equally awesome place to grab a meal! If you have a picky family that can't make up it's mind, you've found your golden ticket! The sushi is top notch and served well, the burgers are every ounce of that delicious fried gold you remember from your earlier years. The combination is actually a ton of fun - and there are some amazing desserts and treats to look over! Absolutely give this one a shot!

My wife got two specialty rolls and I got the Bison Burger (spicy chipotle one). Everything was great!

The food was indeed very fresh. Just a bit overpriced than itās quality. Lobster & crab dip spring roll was the probably best of all.

Literally top 10 best sushi and food in Charlotte! There is nothing on the menu you won't love (my family has tried pretty much everything). And if you like burgers vs sushi, you gotta try the bison burger (amazing).

Great service out in the patio. Orders came out quickly and everything looked and tasted great. The burgers were very good but so juicy the bottom bun was mushy and you couldnāt hold the burger to eat it. The squealer was quite tasty but the fires came out cold. I set them in the sun to warm up.

This restaurant was EVERYTHING people say it was and MORE! This a must visit for my family when we are in town now and a highly recommended spot for all my friends. We had a little bit of everything on the menu including the kids meals for our littles. Sarah was fantastic as a server and even the rest of the team that was running food was very delightful.

Great food, service, setting, and music. The whole concept is burgers meats sushi and with respect to that I highly recommend the Burgushi menu(I had tge "All American" with the "Parmesan bacon triffle fries" and it was delicious), however just a fare warning, though their dessert menu only has two items they are huge and can feed an antire table of people, so if you're feeling something sweet but aren't sharing with others you're gonna wanna stick with their milkshakes!

Interesting experience, I think the burgers are the star here and then they just also happen to serve sushi. Probably need to explore that side more, but the burger side was definitely impressive.
I did the bento box, which was cool, but if I was doing it over I would just split a burger and a roll with someone. Or have leftovers. The local yokel was the mini burger for today, which was very well put together, but Iād probably go for something different next time. High quality beef and good ingredients, so I think the burger will be good regardless of your order or taste.
Actually I was really impressed with the Turkey burger someone let me try. It was super juicy, had huge chunks of Brie on it and was overall just an awesome experience.
Tried the Marks roll and a double salmon roll which were both good, I would like to try some of there signature rolls.
New fashion is everything I hoped it would be, and they use a single large ice cube as it should be.
Oh yeah and we got some shakes to go. Wish the straws were a little bigger, but the lemon meringue was excellent and everybody else was super pleased as well.
Overall lived up to the hype, Iād come back.

Always love going to Cowfish. We went with some little ones and they could not have been better. Had a black truffle burger, cheeseburgerooshi which is the best and a couple kids meals which cone with temp tattoos and a cute dessert that looks like Nigiri sushi. Service was great and we really enjoyed the lunch.
