At the risk of outting myself for being naughty and eating fast food, I feel obliged to give this establishment 5 stars for outstanding customer service, akin to a non fast food restaurant. Visiting Charlevoix on business in October, all of the local restaurants downtown were closed- some due to staffing shortages- we ended up at McDonalds with a surprisingly great experience. We sat at a table that appeared clean, but a staff member quickly jumped over to sanitize our table AND dried it. Instead of calling our order number and retrieving food at the counter, a staff member brought our food to our table (with a number card to associate our order with our table), AND asked if we needed anything else. THEN, the manager stopped over to recheck on us, above and beyond. The dining room was clean, and the views pretty darn pleasant. Kudos to the staff members, managers, and owner.

Staff were very nice when a hiccup with the mobile app removed an add. The food was also much better than what I usually recieve from McDonald's.
Good McDonald's! One needs to take into account the fact that the restaurant is a McDonald's when reviewing a McDonald's. So this rating is RELATIVE to all other McDonald's restaurants within the Midwestern United States of America and the select few other McDonald's locations which I have visited (mainly in the southern United States Of America on several road trips to really cool locations. But that's neither here nor there so to speak). The soda fountains are really good and the people are really nice. They keep it quiet clean. The only bad part is that sometimes when you order at the kiosk they kinda take it personally and you have to feel a little bad. But I don't think that it affects the quality of the food. But maybe some more research could go into that. Either way, it's a 5 five star McDonald's. Make sure to use the app to get points and to get deals and you're in for a decent meal from McDonald's at an affordable price.

The manager, Ariana, was very very helpful and polite. Even with some soured attitude customers who brought their bad day inside with them, she was delightful.
