This place has given me explosive diarrhea for the past 20 hours, and I don’t think it’s going to let up any time soon. If I could give 0 stars I absolutely would. I’m not sure if it was the calamari or the Gorgonzola cream sauce…but I barely made it to the toilet within 30 minutes of leaving this place last night. I am unwell and now I’m not sure I’ll be able to go to a concert tonight….the whole reason we are here in WV to begin with. Thanks Ristorante Abruzzi!

So many reviews raving about the warm and welcoming service….our server, Jose acted inconvenienced our entire visit. He slammed things down on the table then walked away, not very attentive or caring service in the least. As for the food, it was pretty good overall, but our experience was uncomfortable and subpar

This was my first visit since Abruzzi opened. The menu is pretty limited but we enjoyed what we ordered. Their take on a caprese salad, using arugula, cherry tomatoes, and burrata is incredibly good. I enjoyed mine with a helping of their lasagna. Don't judge their presentation by my photo, though, we got our order to-go. The plating is my doing.

I went here with my girlfriend for our 3rd anniversary after a friend told me about how good the food is. We had a great time and some great food too. We started off with the arrosticini (lamb skewers) as an appetizer, then I got radiatori pasta with bolognese sauce and she got spaghetti with marinara sauce. To finish it up, we got a slice of cheesecake and some berry jam. The arrosticini was delicious, especially paired with the tomatoes served with it. While I loved the pasta, I didn't really like the bolognese sauce, but it was my first time having it and it could just be that I don't like bolognese sauce in general and I can't fault them for that. My girlfriend doesn't like her pasta cooked al dente (to me, it's the only way pasta should be cooked), but she liked the marinara sauce on her spaghetti. The cheesecake was a strong finisher and went well with the berry jam. My only complaint about dessert was that the jam had a hint of mint that I thought didn't go well with the cheesecake, but I don't think the jam was originally supposed to be paired with the cheesecake. We asked if they had any fruit sauce for the cheesecake and they said they had something they could give us, so my guess is they don't normally pair them together. Regardless, it was still delicious, mint or no mint. If I go back, I'll be getting the radiatori again, but I plan to try another sauce.

Well...Not sure where to begin. I ordered the spaghetti and meatballs....$22. This does not include a salad. You are given bread, but nothing better than the generic loaf of bread you would buy at a convenient store. The portion of the spaghetti was a children's size portion. Dont go in hungry, you will leave that way. But that's not the worst of it, the taste of the sauce is horrible. I left with a migraine headache as well. I read somewhere someone else did as well. The server was first class. She apologized for my bad experience. She took the dish off my bill as I wasn't able to even eat it. Its a lovely restaurant inside, but that is where it begins and ends, I am sorry to say.

A beautiful atmosphere with a warm welcoming staff. From the beginning the experience was very personal and friendly. I had the lasagna, and it was just delicious! We came for a romantic evening and were met with a dreamy candlelit room with professionals serving crisp cold water from glittering blown glass decanters. A detailed and magical experience curated by lovely inviting people. 10/10 would recommend!

Italian food. Tasty. Parking across the street or behind. Very knowledgeable waitress that were perfect in their service. We had lasagna (a little dry...ask for extra sauce. And, eggplant parmesan with fresh homemade pasta (spaghetti). Eggplant to thick. Spaghetti very good.
