Leonoro's Spaghetti House

I went there after hearing such good things. I was very disappointed. My friend and I both had the small antipasto salad. What we received was a side salad with 4 thin slices of salami and 1 slice of cheese cut into 4 triangles. There is no lettuce in an authentic Italian antipasto. There definitely isn't cabbage and carrots in it. There was no description on the menu so why would we think it was lettuce? Each salad was 10.00 . My friend ate the bread and said it was good but it's just like she buys at the grocery store. I could have walked across the street and got a traditional one from Gino's. I don't think I'll go back. The prices were high also. I can't imagine paying 7.00 for a side of sausage!

I can only assume those giving it higher than a 3 have never ate anything Italian other than chef boyardee or stoffers boxed pasta. I took a few bites and threw the rest away. Unless you like pay 20+ dollars for pasta that tastes like it's from the can, avoid this place. I enjoy traveling internationally and have tried food from all over, those of you calling it "authentic Italian" are either lying because it's sentimental or you know the owners or you have no idea what you're talking about. You must be the same people keeping ponderosa open and calling their food good.

My wife and I were looking for some good, authentic Italian food while staying overnight in Charleston and decided to visit Leonoro's. I'm glad we did. The service was great and the presentation and taste of the food was excellent. The sauce on the Lasagna and Manicotti was very flavorful and the meatballs were perfect. We will definitely be back again!

I would honestly put no stars because their food was awful me and my boyfriend went there for date night and their pasta had no flavor to it no meat in the sauce the meatballs was tough the noodles was not even drained all the way cuz there was a bunch of water on the plate it was just terrible for the price that we paid the waitress was nice other than that the food was awful the bread was hard it just was not our place whatsoever we told the waitress about it and he seemed like it didn't bother him then when we went to go pay the guy came up there we did the credit card and then he just gave us the pen and paper then ran off and resigned it and left I do not recommend this place neither does my boyfriend

Leonoro’s is the BEST! It was only 10 years that I discovered it in Charleston, WV. The food is anything but ordinary! The service is excellent every single time I believe his name is Kevin and he treats us like family. The lasagna is great, as well as their meatballs and sauce. Please make sure to stop by if you’re in town keep this little place open!
