Funny, I hadn't expected anything odd despite reading so many questionable reviews, but I had my own odd experience here. 1. Tropical smoothie is excellent 2. Longevity smoothie is good, not excellent and cake with a strange issue: Clearly they were busy on a big to-go lunch order... That being said, the manager(guessing he was?) saw the girl making my smoothie with a nice wedge of fresh pineapple. He made her stick her hand back into the (now-full of all ingredients) blender container and swap it out with a few chunks of frozen pineapple. Her gloves were on, so I wasn't grossed out, but seriously??? Not only did he make the store look chincy, but the pineapple was clearly now contaminated with coconut water, ginger, etc and going back into the pineapple storage for a future guest. Strange, right? Plus, she could've cut her hand on the sharp blades while digging out the pineapple. Heck, just give me the fresh, correct her mistake for next time, and don't do things like this in front of the customer.

I recently visited Clean Juice on Calhoun Street after a massage at The Spa of Charleston. I was looking for a healthy and refreshing drink to help me refuel, and I was not disappointed. Clean Juice is a great spot to get a variety of healthy juices, smoothies, and bowls. I ordered the Green Goddess, which is a blend of kale, spinach, cucumber, apple, lemon, and ginger. It was delicious and refreshing, and it gave me the energy boost I needed after my massage. The staff at Clean Juice was friendly and helpful. They were happy to answer my questions about the ingredients in the juices and smoothies, and they even gave me some recommendations. I would definitely recommend Clean Juice to anyone looking for a healthy and delicious juice or smoothie in Charleston. I ordered "The Hardcore One", green juice, with extra ginger. It's your typical standard green juice. Low in calories and sugar. If you want a dose of greens get this drink.

I am new to Charleston and heard great things about Clean Juice so I visited them on Calhoun Street, I asked the girls behind the bar what the most popular/best thing was and they suggested the berry bowl. It was unbelievable. So creamy and yummy. My friend got the Glow one drink with kale, spinach, cucumber and apple. I will get that the next time as It was delicious as well!! Very cute place with lots of healthy yummy choices on the menu!

Very good menu, delicious bowls, avo toast is great. Friendly staff. Good location. A few of the bowls were too watery but staff will remake them if so. Great.

Honestly, it's a little pricey, especially when it comes to the food items. But it's convenient. Some of the smoothies are a little bit bitter because of the vegetables used in them but I still think they're refreshing and healthy! It's kind of an acquired taste. If you like things that are very sweet, maybe this isn't the place for you. But if you like refreshing drinks and not having to worry about what you're putting into you body, then I recommend this place. PS The chocolate cherry smoothie is sooooo tasty and pleasantly sweet

I stopped in this morning after my run and got the best service! Everyone was bright-eyed and smiling. My drink came quickly and the juice was fantastic. I even got a t-shirt. They did a great job of turning me into a returning customer when I’m in Charleston.
