A Salt N Battered A Fish Fry Co.

been wanting to try this place out, food was pretty good The only issue I had was they didn't really give you a lot of fish and shrimp in the fish/shrimp combo. price was decent but felt like I had a mound of fries. the shrimp and the cod were really tasty though. I saw you could order fish a la carte but I didn't see an option to do the same for shrimp (might just have to ask for it). bartender was great, service levels were good. check it out if you're in the area, I think it's worth the trip.

Food was great. No pics of fish and chips. I ate them all. But my wife’s salad was so big, had enough to take home. Bartender doubled as host and server, great job. Grill person had meals left and right. Done a great job. Women in action and doing it. If you are in the area, check it out. Will not be disappointed.

Went Nov 2021. We enjoyed this place overall. Small little place, slower service due to staff shortages I’m sure, but decent. Some of the fish were better balanced than others. We took our food take out and had about 6 meals we were grabbing for our group. Catfish was pretty good, the cod was okay but it’s not a strong flavored fish either. Hush puppies were good as were the fried pickles.

A great hole-in-the-wall for excellent fish and chips! Instead of waiting over an hour for a table at Home Team my family decided to revisit Salt n Battered and we were seated immediately. We all ordered the cod fish and chips and all orders were made to order and came out blazing hot. In true British fashion they had HP sauce and malt vinegar on the table which went really well on the fries. The tarter sauce was particularly good too. The service was excellent as well and the food came out in a reasonable time. I had the 4oz cod (pictured) and my family had the 8oz which was HUGE! This is our second trip to this restaurant and have been very pleased with both experiences.
