Jade Garden

This was our first time trying this place and we will order again. I’d like for the community to support this family-run business. They are trying hard to make it work. The Special Fried rice was good, but not great. The chicken pieces were odd: too soft, fatty and almost translucent. It lacked flavor. However, we also got the cashew chicken and asked to add broccoli. That had great flavor and a good sauce. They only do take out. The “dining room” has become a makeshift area for their young son to play. It has the vibe of the movie “Everything Everywhere All at Once.” I’d like to support them and hope it gets better for them.

Very pricey especially when you have to make a big order. Customer service is good. If you call in an order you have to ask for your total or else you won't know till you pick up the food. Like any other Chinese food place, English is hard to understand but is spoken by staff. You can't dine in, so either place an order via phone or walk up to their counter. Food is relatively fast to receive upon making the initial order. And the food is good.😊👍

I recently moved to West Ashley from out-of-state, and I was having a hard time finding a consistently solid Chinese restaurant. I ate at several restaurants before finding Jade Garden, and now Jade Garden is the only place I go for Chinese food. The food is delicious and the kitchen is clean. The cashier is so friendly, speaks perfectly clear English, and doesn't rush you to order. I've never been disappointed with my food, and it also feels nice supporting such a friendly family-owned restaurant. Takeout is very fast, and I highly recommend the Kung Pao chicken (if you aren't allergic to peanuts, or you'll die - get something else). Eat here, you won't regret it!

I Love the Shrimp Lo-mein!!! Its the best tasting out of the restaurants that i have tried. They also have great tasting Shrimp Toast, plus they give you sauce that you can dip them in! The Pansit is not bad either because my sister has to eat it having a food allergy. The people there are nice and make sure you get your food within 15 minutes. I love this place and it has good tasting food!!!
